Damn, Sorry to hear that. I just sold my 15-year-old Hyundai and I posted on Craigs List and Ebay. I sold it on ebay, CL was all scammers (typical send a check and they will come to get the car). I got scammed out of 22 dollars for some bogus vin report and had to cancel my credit card. Not sure what the deal (scam) was with that bc the person ghosted me after I ran the vin report. EBay has an account attached to the name and the sale went really well. The buyer came to my home paid cash and drove away. The only little hiccup was on my part. 50 dollars to post for 30 days no final value fee. I did pay for the carfax bc the one ebay never pulled until I paid for the carfax. I hope this helps someone else not get scammed.

@@paullee107 but I’m reminded of the story of the drowning man. Are you familiar? It goes something like this- A fellow was stuck on his rooftop in a flood. He was praying to God for help Soon a man in a rowboat came by and the fellow shouted to the man on the roof, “Jump in, I can save you.” The stranded fellow shouted back, “No, it’s OK, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me.” So the rowboat went on. Then a motorboat came by. “The fellow in the motorboat shouted, “Jump in, I can save you.” To this the stranded man said, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.” So the motorboat went on. Then a helicopter came by and the pilot shouted down, “Grab this rope and I will lift you to safety.” To this the stranded man again replied, “No thanks, I’m praying to God and he is going to save me. I have faith.” So the helicopter reluctantly flew away. Soon the water rose above the rooftop and the man drowned. He went to Heaven. He finally got his chance to discuss this whole situation with God, at which point he exclaimed, “I had faith in you but you didn’t save me, you let me drown. I don’t understand why!” To this God replied, “I sent you a rowboat and a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you expect?”

it's difficult to tell for sure from a video but sorry to say your car definitely sounds like it has timing issues. on startup it sounds like there is a bad case of "timing chain slap", which is typically exacerbated by a broken main timing chain guide. If I had to guess, the engine has some valve damage most likely on the bank 1 cylinders (passenger side). I would invest in a Ross-Tech VCDS diagnostic cable which will allow you to pull important data regarding the engine timing. I would also buy a cheap borescope and put it down the spark plug holes to check the tops of the pistons for witness marks from valve contact. These engines are notorious for timing problems including timing guides breaking and camshaft adjusters wearing out. Also, most likely your power steering pump is damaged from lack of fluid (they cannot be run dry), and is now making noise. This car probably needs an engine-out service to get it completely fixed, which is pretty common for 4.2 S4s unfortunately. It's the reason you can find these cars cheap, and why so many are sadly being parted out and crushed. Hopefully I'm wrong on a lot of this assessment... but if you enjoy working on cars and figuring out problems, you picked a GREAT car haha

@silver47417 күн бұрын
@@_allthingsdude yeah removing the links makes it tighter. The wider part of the link needs to be pinched while you hinge the other piece off. Or vice versa.. I can’t quite remember. But there are videos here on KZfaq that can show you. But she goes on walks okay without the nylon collar?

@@_allthingsdude that’s a funny quirk. If she walks without pulling and isn’t reactive, I don’t really see a reason to tighten the prong collar. It’s mostly a training aid, but if she’s used to it as a collar you may as well leave it loose.
