Magnifique voix et magnifique jeune femme 🙏

I keep a bunch of playlists in KZfaq, including this one that I call 'uplifting music' - tunes that make your soul fly. I dropped into it tonight just wanting to hear some great tunes - and spotted that the title of this video, long present in the list, has acquired 'RIP' after Patricia's name. I had to look her up for news, to find the shattering fact of her illness and her passing last year. Instead of loving the sound of her soaring voice before I turn in to sleep, I found myself weeping for a woman I never knew - I just feel the terrible sadness of one so young being lost to such a cruel disease, and the tragic end of such a beautiful talent. Someone made a playlist of as many of her recordings as they could find, in chronological order. I tagged it long ago, but now I'll watch it with a sense of foreboding as I know how the fairytale ends 😢
