I don't mind what Mio did. I mean he wants to be with Hibiki but will Hibiki even accept him once she knows of what he did? Instead of improving himself he resulted to drugs. He gets angry, easily trusted a stranger and used drugs. He harrased a girl, bullied school mates and now killed his friends by eating them. He didn't even apologize for what he did and plan to run away. What if he's with her and got defeated by an enemy? Remember, this is just a school mock battle and he did that. Not worthy to be working with a hero.

Actually, Hibiki still accept him to join her party even he's being pawn to demon plan and left only a rotten meat of his former hyumanity, but that happen in what-if universe where Makoto didn't meet Emma and decide to take revenge on Goddess alone.

It will never happen, why? Because it was the guy who needed that punishment, thinking he could start over. He may have been manipulated by the demons, specifically by Rona, but that doesn’t change the fact that he became an A-hole and did what he did at the tournament. He involved other people in his grudge rather than going after Makoto directly. Even if Makoto finds out what Mio did to him, I doubt he’s going to punish her.

Letter it's find out the one who prevent mio act to be reported was tomoe, mio doesn't even mind to report her own act to him but tomoe have different idealism, she want all of hopalace problem are under the bridge
