52:00 "Ignorant" has the same root as "ignore," so ignorant people ACT uninformed, but really just ignore/deny things that are observably true, and can therefore be malicious depending on what theyre ignorant of. "Naive" is truly uninformed, and while it's morally neutral, it's still a "negative" trait.

Regarding intensity preferences, i didn't know it changes when guest go onto rides! My first idea was to "sort" guests by a high intensity free coaster, then build high and low intensity rides for each group respectively. As intensity rating changes, i guess this will not work...

These Parks are all amazingly beautiful, absolutly mind-blowing. They are all finished Parks, though. What made the original title sequence so exhilarating to me was that they were previews of the scenarios that I was about to unlock. Unfinished parks with a little pre-building to make them interesting. For me, it would have made a lot of sense to have the contestants design a new scenario and then publish the whole thing as a new scenario add-on package. That's what the original title sequence did, it made me want to play those scenarios. That said, thanks for still putting in so much effort into this game. I absolutely love the work you people do. 🥰

32:30 For anyone questioning why anyone would have an issue with the progressive flag being used instead of a standard pride flag, just look at the chat: "Piss off so many *terrible* people"? "Let the *horrible* people cry"? Sarcastically calling discrimination being bad an "extreme political angle"? It's not about bigotry, it's about being assumed to be a bigot over the progressive flag overshadowing the rainbow that had already encompassed everyone, and now is being overshadowed by a message that is far more political and discriminatory against anyone who is presumed to go against their beliefs. Not to mention how ugly the progressive flag is compared to the much simpler and concrete rainbow design. The design of the flowers is nice and thought out, but Marcel is right here. Not because "horrible people will hate it" but because no one wants a political angle with a controversial background pushed through their nostalgic theme park game. It's one thing to represent, but it's another to push it on people who don't want it.

I was going to do just the rainbow in front of the fountain thing, but then I extended it to the fountain and thought that the composition would look better if I did the progress flag bit around the fountain. I can see why it'd upset some people the wrong way, but almost everyone I showed it to loved how it looked. Marcel's stream was the first time someone mentioned how it might be problematic. I'll keep a note of that. As for the red pathways? I thought they'd fit the 'autumn' theme. Later on, my sister made some odd suggestions, but among them was "replace the red pathways with the green ones" so I kinda wrote it off.

@@Arntonach Thanks for understanding my feedback. It's nothing against the creators themselves, because it was clear a lot of work went into the park. I was more explaining on the account of why it would be controversial in the first place because it seemed like Marcel's feedback was not taken well by a select few from his chat. Most were fine or neutral about it, but there were definitely caught my eye as someone who's both gay and feels pushed out or exiled from the community I should be identifying with. It's a common problem within the LGBTQ community that doesn't get a lot of attention because, as you could guess, it's not as pretty as a rainbow.

@@Arntonach With "problematic" I mean for the title sequence, not for the park itself. As I said in the stream, I think you did do a great job with turning the progressive pride flag into flowerbeds, even if I think the flag itself is ugly. To me putting that flag that big in the title sequence is akin to putting "black lives matter" or "pro choice" in the title sequence. They're great messages, but I don't think they have a place in the title sequence of rollercoaster tycoon and it will only stir up unnecessary drama. No matter how much we say that being gay is ok and that this flag shouldn't be political, the unfortunate reality is that it is and that it will make the game a lot more political and the community more hostile. If you want proof of that, just look at the comments of my "pride rides in trinity islands" video. I don't regret that video, which is because all the drama is contained to the comment section of that video. But with the title sequence it will be seen all throughout the community until the sequence changes again.

Hello Marcel, -Yes, there indeed was an Alligatoren Show in Heide Park. Was quite old, i remember it from my childhood in elementary school, now i'm 45, lol.. -Kaffeetassen = coffee mugs -The real River Rafting has a few drops of like overall 3-4 meters in height. So its kinda misrepresented here... -Schweben = to float, so Schwebebahn = Floating rail... -The real Grottenblitz is not nearly as bad as represented here. Although it is not that good either... -The flat ride called Rainbow should actually be a flying carpet, as in real life. -Schweizer = swiss

Just to add more to the unending discussion on daylight savings: I still haven't heard a good argument for summer time. The sun would go down at 20:30 'already' as if that isn't late enough? That's purely subjective. Same with the sun rising too early. The idea that the earliest hour of sunlight is useless doesn't hold water, because the days are longer anyway. An argument against summer time is the extreme heat we all have to deal with now, even in the Netherlands. Let it get darker earlier so the night can cool off more.

As an American, I really don't get any more patriotic during the Olympics. If anything, I tend to hate fellow Americans in the Olympics because the media covering them will give 10 minutes of air time to go on about a big American athlete for every 1 minute of actual coverage of the sport. What I tend to do is find underdogs and cheer for them, personally.

Regarding 1:21:30 if you only have a backup at the same location as the data, you don't have a backup. Always obey the 321-rule: 3 copies (including the original, so two different backups) on 2 different media with 1 offsite. (Also: check your backup and do a restore test)
