What a great job! This would be a fun and fulfilling job, flying drones and helping people. Question: with these drones costing over $17K, you'd have to have 35 or 40 jobs just to break even, right? Are there even that many jobs/calls in a 1 or 2 year period?

This is my absolute favorite of your videos! Gets me everytime no matter how many times I watch it! Your videos actually inspired me to take the training and pass the the test. I just got my M30T like a month or so ago. I try to fly a little bit every day to learn everything there is to know about the Pilot2 app. Man I would love to tag along on one of your missions one day to try and learn from you guys.

That is not a fact. After 24 hours they go into survival mode. Everything becomes a predator to them.

Yes it is more challenging and time consuming but we are still able to search at this point. Here in our area it’s not completely grown in yet. We found the sun to be less of a factor in the morning and evening when it’s lower in the sky. During midday with full sun is pretty much impossible at this point given the foliage. One of the things we found with the dogs we were successful with has been that most of them have been at the edge of the woods rather than deep inside.

One recommandation. You should use VR for viewing for 2 reasons. It can allow you to navigate the camera with your head movement. And it will save your posture in long terms because by looking at this video, they way you fly the drone is not good for you brother.

You should explain more on how you don't follow the rules of Part 107. All about helping people is great.... But don't break the law doing it.

We are part 107 licensed by the FAA. We follow FAA guidelines and safety protocols. This is not a comprehensive training video on how to execute a search with a thermal drone. You are watching an edited version of the events that occurred for entertainment purposes only. Before you attempt to fly a drone, make sure you understand all guidelines and safety protocols available from the FAA.

@@DronePetRecovery You are showing an edited video.... You said it not me.. And cut out all the rules you break. The FAA does not issue a BVLOS the morning you get a call to go look for a Pet.. Pulling on peoples hearts with your videos to TRY to make your channel something... LOL Don't try and say you have multiple VO's scattered around your search area as you all huddle in the back of the vehicle and watch your monitor.. You are in denial.....

If you can see your drone you don’t need a BVLOS exemption. 👍 We do our best to operate within all of the 107 rules including VLOS. Check out time code 11:25

I myself am lost on what part of the 107 was in violation. I myself hold a 107 license and as of this week, I am fully customizing my commercial drone with my very powerful long range thermal camera to do the same type of work with it being a need as our pets are considered part of our families. But please explain what you feel is a violation of the FAA in regards to the 107?
