The live version of Dragnalus has my all time favorite performance from the band. The way Justin and Sara manage to save the track before Vern can back to killing it is why the band is greatest of all time. 1991-2091

Baltimore actually had a decent yet sleazy music scene in the 90s. Everynight 3 bands to experience. I went to Fletchers all the time in 95-96. Sorry I missed this show.

I grew up on bikini kill and tony randall is one of the only songs I ever learned to sing and play! Normally I just play guitar, was in an all girl band and had the same rickenbacker as their guitar player is Playing! I also had written to bikini kill as a kid and Kathleen wrote me back twice! By hand signed and everything! That woman was my hero

A mofo guitar clinic - so much knowledge in this set. A true gem of a recording of a lost time. H/t to CB. Saw them at Mables in Champaign in 94-95 opening for Pavement. Just like this, except Today's Active Lifestyles. Been my favorite band ever since.

In 1997 my best friend and i drove from philly to olynpia washington. Unwound and godheadsilo and karp were our role models. We got there, wejt to k records saw calvin, asked about vern runsey and where to find him. Wejt to a pay phone and randomly looked him up and called. Roomate answers im like uh, is vern rumsey there (sounding like butthead). They were like no hes in europe backpacking. I was like oh that sounds cool... lol and that was that... i was like, wheres the lync and karp concerts at in this town? It was dead... anyway, fuckn cool dudes. I saw unwound like 4 tines in philly in the 90s.

Sara lund is sexy❤. I didn't even expect they would ever do a reunion. Jared on bass too... fuck yeah. New plastic ideas was my jam in 1993. The first 2 unwound albums used to be ny go to when tripping on lsd or shrooms in the early 90s.

aww, it was andee's birthday. then that blizzard the next night in baltimore. like i said id love to see that footage, i just remember the sound, being so sonically intense that theres not a ton of footage of them, like @owenbraid5451 said, theres just no other band like them. thank you so much for this and everything on this channel, its truly one of the best on youtube.

Pretty sure I was at this show. Was Long Fin Killie or Blonde Redhead the opener? I was there for the opener; hadn't heard Unwound before. I became a fan this night.

not sure, but it was a pretty safe bet at this time in NYC/Hoboken that Blonde Redhead or Guv’ner were openers of most shows 🤣

I'm a 50 year old straight guy but what does that matter. This is one of the best bands ever. It's like you look back at the 90's and channel all the great punk, early emo or whatever into these songs. It's like the music i wanted to hear but never knew existed then. Can't believe i missed them for all those years. Wish i had seen them live back then. Can't believe how good they are live too.
