So you pulled out the auxiliary plug? Spliced it together with ground and remote?? Re attached the plug to said wires. And put it back into place??? 2nd. I used a bolt that's connected just behind the back seat on the driver's side. I removed a cover, found like 4 bolt I believe... ran my ground to that. My remote wire, I ran to my fuse box in the front. My amp turns on. But won't provide sound till I begin to remove auxiliary cords that are connected to amp.. only sound i get is a hum to the song. Which isn't much.

Just a tip for everyone: If you suspect timing, take the oil filler cap off and see if the lifters are moving when trying to crank the car. If no movement the timing belt is indeed broken.
