I was born in 02 and i do not care tbh. I dont feel weird or uncomfortable seeing them even when its in a movie I am watching with parents or other family. Like it doesnt bother me and I feel like its something we all do (well not all but its natural) and it they are there to convey a story, I havent seen any movie in a long time where It was unnecessary or made the movie worse in any way

Fascists always need a "villain" someone to blame for society at large's unhappiness and discontent, so it's easy to see how once the majority of immigrants are deported, the viability and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community eliminated, Jim Crow laws re-established, and the ability for workers to unionize outlawed, the next marginalized groups would be people with disabilities, the elderly, members of any religion that is not evangelical Christian, and it's not hard to imagine divorced women becoming a target as well. What supporters of authoritarian/ fascist governments fail to understand is what begins as having a shared "enemy" is temporary, and by the time they realize the elimination of said "enemy" has not improved their lives, or provided a sense of relief from their melancholy, they find themselves to be part of the next group of people with the target on their backs.

I'd much rather see somebody like Josh Shapiro or even Jasmine Crockett run for president ( idk if shes old enough) but i will vote for kamala to save our democracy.
