Only things I could really add - Clint’s shirt is almost always tucked in, he gets it untucked in some fight scenes or if he’s being thrown around the room and tortured, but it’s generally tucked in (as most people would do back then). To add to that, You’re also missing a belt to hold your pants up, the gunbelt just holds his pistol. Lastly, I’m pretty sure that he wears narrow square toed boots instead of R or snip toe like most people assume.

Hi just making an R2 now. Can you recomend any silver paint for the base coat, and a make of rub and buff to get a nice metal finish?

@@D0CBEE Hi. In the written info on the episode I link to the Rub and Buff I used. The silver was a Halfords brand - there is no link but the full name in the notes.

It's a good film. Obviously it's no Raiders, but I thoroughly enjoyed it - I'm still a kid at heart and my heart wasn't disappointed! It would 've been amazing if Ke Hey Quan was written into the script (and mentors Teddy), but maybe a good script writer can make something happen in the future!

I was bored and reverse engineered the Rubies Gear box so now I can 3d print them out as a complete working gearbox that slides into the spirit trap to motorize the doors with little to no effort.

I'm starting a Vader Build next year. I found the file for the 3d printed shins you made and luckily have a friend who 3d prints all his own cosumes so can go to him,so my question is - Is the file for a standard size re the shins or are they tweakable? I'm 6ft 2 and guessing you're around the same height? I'm also in the UK like yourself and locating a good number of the parts here will obviously be a bonus,as well as price re the shins!

@@kingrubbatiti1285 hey. Hope the build goes well. A couple of things. I did a test shin and then tried on with my boots. I found it was about 2inch short so resized. Not in terms of over all but the length. Bearing in mind the right and left shins are not the same AND not the same size. From memory the right shin is about an inch taller than the left. it's worth putting on boots and measuring from the point the shin would start to mid your knee cap. that would give you an idea it needs to be when finished. hope that helps (that's the right shin).

@@Cosplayvicar That's a great help,thanks! I'm giving myself two years to do the build as so far I have a TK on the way from RWA and want to have fun with that in the next year or so at events. So far I've just bought some leather riding boots which hit the spot and will gradually over the next year or two aquire each piece so no rush my end, but excited to do it and it wasn't even a priority costume for me as we already have two Vaders in our group! I'm not adverse to going to Bookface for Shins,as those are amazing (I will use Him eventually for the armour and helmet) but your's do look great and if it is something I can save money on a little,as I know I will have to go abroad and suffer import charges for things like the leathers,cape and robe etc.

@@kingrubbatiti1285 if helpful I have a set of shins you can have for £40 and postage. I think they are fiberglass and made by a UKG member. I didn’t use them as they arrived later than I needed them.

Thank you so much for this video. I am working on an ESB Vader costume and used your files for the 3D prints. They look superb. The aluminum parts will come from Fenixprops, the lights came from Bulgaria - work ist still in progress. It won't be screen accurate, since 3 of the 4 buttons will have a brushed steel surface. Here is a good interaction with a possible future club member. Instead of walking up to them and tell them ur costume would never pass review to join. Why not say “Hello glad u came out to troop at this event, would u consider joining the 501? If so contact us so we can get ur costume up to 501 standard. We can show u what needs to be altered.” See how easy that works, didn’t even have to insult the persons costume. Basic 101 when u are dealing with other cosplayers..

The neck accessories is a black neckerchief and tied at the back. I think he wears it due to the rope burns he got being hung in Hang em high. Clint didn't get rope burns, but his character did, and he wore the same in many films.

Thanks to you I was able to print my own and slowly but surely making my way through and acquiring all the bits and pieces. One note, just because I can tell you're a stickler for detail: the bottom lip of the coin slots is actually meant to be black, not silver. No one who isn't making a chestbox would notice, but thought you might want to know for your next go 'round.

Ha ha. Great question. That’s a big debate. The poncho was olive but once the colour grading was done it looked brown a lot of the time.

This always confused me, I know it’s olive in the first 2 movies, but I’m sure it was brow on the last one😭💀I’ve seen some that are double sided and have both colors, but I wasn’t sure about the accuracy. I’ve also seen older Clint wearing a brown one instead of an olive one but that could be due to the legacy of the movie🤔

Love that book, had that book for some time. I have a room in my house that is floor to ceiling bookshelves. I wouldnt go as far to call it a library, but it is not far off. frozen empire was great nod to the previous movies and a decent movie in its own right. Great content as always.
