Carlos was/is certainly a genius! Working in a familiar form, rock and roll, making it entirely his own. And Abraxas was still in the future!😅

I always thought it was a BLACK Magic woman and i was deeply devastated when i found out that it was, in fact, a BLACK MAGIC Women which was a blond London girl. Just cant wrap my head around it.

WOW! That was fantastic. First time I heard this version, and got to see it performed at the same time. I wonder if there any bootlegs of this.

ted nugent knew how to get a incredibly thick rich tone out of his guitars...his fills and blues improv is fantastic. He talked about how , counter to what you would think, a semi solid body with F holes and a wide expansive interior body can actually sound much larger, fill much more of a room and have that booming sound than a solid body guitar.

Alvin’s killin it as always⚡️. And he’s got Rory Gallagher’s bassist, Gerry McAvoy, as well as one of Rory’s drummers, Brendan O’neil.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the Quo and Alan Lancaster but he never got the words right for Roadhouse Blues. “At the back of the Roadhouse they’ve got some bungalows”. I dont know what Alan is singing but it’s definitely not that.
