This is a great series of games and not easy putting it in order of least to great. 2 is a good it doesn't star snake in most of the game 4 is good, but it feels mostly like watching cutscenes rather than playing the actual game. 1 will always be an all-time classic 5. The story is decent, but i really like the open world gameplay. Strongly dont like the long intro, tho 3 come on, was there any doubt this is what metal gear is all about.

Sadly in the newest hitman we can no longer do this kind of "experiment". Should a npc guard got his guns taken, he will run and grab a new one from a wardrobe/weapon cask in guard's room.

And if you disarm bodyguard NPCs in Hitman 3, they'll just pull a gun out their a$$ after waking up lmao. Goes to show how older games were more realistic in some ways

I think it's because of a different focus. As the games went on they focused more and more on the perfect stealth style of gameplay (with Absolution being a weird hiccup that kind of goes both ways), so with the WoA trilogy they focused more on stealth related stuff (how NPCs react to distractions, poisons, unique accidents) and skipped over things like this that they intend for the player to avoid anyway. As in ideally they don't expect you to be having unconscious guards found and woken up at all.

I disarmed Maynard John and Mark Parchezzi, I wanted them to fight hand to hand with me, but they didn't program them to fight unarmed, interestingly John is not affected by pushes and punches, and when Parchezzi has an SMG he needs two punches to fall, It's really cool to test things in this game
