Axel bearing seal is stuck on impossibly tight for me unfortunately. Got to ask, is it fine to use the slide hammer to pull out the bearings and the stuck seal at the same time? At face value, it seems it would be significantly easier to pull out a rusted seal this way.

Thanks for the video! Only note is to get the horn working, I had to cut the horn contact plate a bit, and bend it so it actually made contact with the adapters grounding ring. May have been what happened with yours. It doesn’t line up exactly and doesn’t make good contact, hence no grounding so no horn. I made it slightly skinner and bent it slightly outwards. I also had to change the hump location to more of the 9 o clock position relative to the adapter, then it was able to make contact with the ring, and get horn sounds

My element have 200k Miles..
@TheMileHighMechanic
@TheMileHighMechanic Ай бұрын
My fuel pump was actually completely fine when I replaced it, I was putting a turbo on it, so I needed a higher flowing pump. However the general rule of thumb with the fuel pump is that I you can hear it prime when you turn the key, then it is working. If you cannot hear it prime then it is dead...if it is an intermittent problem it is likely not the fuel pump...also if it starts and runs, it is not the fuel pump.
