G'day Phil, a quiet $2 hunt this time with just 2 coins, interesting commentary about the Bluey coins being issued through Australia Post, I scored 31 coloured $2 coins from my friendly bank teller last week, including Mosaic & Rosemary coins, I couldn't believe my luck, not sure how many rolls I would have to noodle to find that swag of coins. A couple of mules Phil 😲, you had me going there for a moment. You have found a number of ex proof $1 coins now if i remember correctly, yet to find one myself. Last Saturday i went to my first Anda expo in Perth and got to briefly meet Matthew Thompson of Thomsons Coins, lined up for 2 hours for the coin swap. Got the $100 & $110 bag plus the circulating Naidoc 50 cent bags, nice to have the 2021 $1 coin satchet and $2019 Police rememberance satchet. Were you able to buy the coloured naidoc 50 cent Phil? If not the RAM has them at the moment limit of 3 per account. 👍👍

Hi Paul. Glad that you could get to a RAM swap. Very nice pick ups for you. Yes, I have the coloured carded NAIDOC 50c I was lucky enough to get one in the Ballot. Matt Thompson does a power of work for the ANDA shows.

Gidday ,i have a good condition Di and Charles 50 cent piece ,how much is it worth ?also other coin collector Vids say a 1971 50 cent is worth big dollars as well,is that true?

Hi Douglas. Generally a 1981 Marriage coin in really good condition would go for around $4-$9 But there are plenty of them around, They would most likely sell to Overseas Collectors. The 1971 was also highly minted at 21.1Mil The tough part is finding them in Uncirculated condition. They that can go for a bit but they don't seem to sell that often.

Phil, you should check the dates of all 50c coins. Keep in mind the CoA 1977 and CoA 1988 mules. Then there's the 1985 CoA low mintage, 1993 low mintage and the 2001 upset die alignment 50c. Also check the 2003 Australia's Volunteers for the die crack error.

Something else about the 1977 silver jubilee. There's two types. When you find them, place them reverse side down and spinning them. Some will spin and some won't spin. @PhilFindsCollects

Hi Tyler. I don't remember any Purple Poppy in the RAM Determinations. Where did you hear about that ? I Haven't heard about all the KCIII coins in circulation . Ive Only heard/seen the 2024 $2 and the 2023 $1. No clue yet on the others

I think the wait is to stop people from putting coins on ebay at so much of a percentage mark up. Ram possibly waiting for the hype to die down before they release their representative retail price coins. That's my theory anyway.......
