I guess I messed up. I've had my plate for one day and I stored it with a piece of copy paper on top. Today I took the paper off and it was all full of oil I hope I didn't damage it should I apply mineral oil before using it?

Looked like the textile medium lightened the colors a bit, does it dry transparent so the colors retain their intensity?

How do you clean the ink from the fantastix tool, so your able to reuse for a different color?

Thanks for mentioning address labels: I have tons of those that I can use; I forget to use them for mailing plus I do so little mailing and it seems every charitable organization sends those to get me to reciprocate with a donation.

I guess in most of the cases you kept the stickers for the sticker shape since your paint was mostly opaque and covered the sticker diagram

Some photo papers will stick to a Gelli Plate (the manufactured ones.) However, I have used photo paper on homemade jelly plates without an issue.

You can do this much quicker with any image film such as Apollo. Print it on an ink jet printer then apply a clear gel medium on the surface you want to transfer to. Rub with a thumb carefully or spoon. then wait3-5 minutes. then slowly lift the film. Check Gary Reef's video for better instructions.

very interesting... it sounded like you are saying painting porn, lol. I think you are pouring? Yes, I see now you are pouring, not porning, lol. I love to paint small paintings too so I am going to experiement with your hanging...gotta listen again to see what you used to hang. Thanks, I teach watercolor at Roswell Visual Arts Center in Roswell, GA.

Yeah, it’s interesting how our ideas of an object or a shape (envelope vs. paper sheet) change how we perceive decoration.
