Well, the idea was to have the camera as far back as possible, so the distance between the monitor is much closer than normal, all for the shot! (Hans doesn’t like to use a viewfinder because he wears glasses)

Thanks for the Test and it would be interesting to see how these lenses render skintones. In this league the skintones are the main feature, certainly your tests are important too!

Thanks! This is a very old test where we didn't test skin tones, unfortunately. I knew that I was mainly interested in the bokeh difference at the time. I think both are great sets, the Sigma wins on price, size and weight, and, in my opinion, bokeh. The Tokina wins on coverage (VV+), focus breathing and character of the flares

Honestly I’d get at least one 50cm. 25cm is very small. In this case we only had the small reflectors, but if we had bigger ones we’d use them

Wass this shot in FF mode of super 35 mode. Im assuming the camera has both but I dont know.

@@OculusFilm thanks for the reply. In FF mode it pushes these lenses to the limits so the character is greatly accentuated. In super 35 it's a bit tamer...but still there. great that they cover FF tho

They don’t really cover FF. The sensor of the C500 is 17:9, the sides are cropped in 6:5 anamorphic mode. The C500 sensor height is similar to S35 open gate.

Wat een informatief filmpje! Ik moest dit van mijn moeder kijken en eerst dacht ik van hé daar heb ik toch helemaal geen zin in. Maar echt goed gedaan! Complimenten!

De boodschap over sluipverbruik is wel duidelijk maar "consumenten" maken deze apparaten niet zelf en moeten het doen met wat een fabrikant levert. Als het dan met het sluipverbruik uit de klauwen loopt dan is dat dus de schuld van... de "consument"! Dat is logisch toch? Want er wordt geen woord gerept over apparaten waar geen aan/uit knop op zit. Bijvoorbeeld een Senseo koffiezetapparaat verbruikt continue 7W voor de elektronica die het "aan/semi uit" knopje bewaakt. Ik vind het onbegrijpelijk dat de fabrikant hier geen harde aan/uit knop op zet want dat bespaart zomaar 60Kw/h op jaarbasis. En het meest wrange is dat een bedrijf met al deze zaken weg komt door de schuld naar de consument te verleggen.

Zo'n 20% van het energie verbruik in nl komt uit huishoudens, kun je nagaan hoeveel "roeiers" je nodig heb om alle vrachtwagens, fabrieken en kantoren aan de gang te houden.

Ik sta vanaf nu nooit meer rustig onder de douche;) Overigens voor wie hem kan (laten) installeren is een warmteterugwin eenheid voor de douche een flink besparende weinig grondstoffenvragende oplosing. Efficiënter dan een zonneboiler.

#1:45 Een koffiezetter gebruikt echt geen 900 watt voor het warmhoudplaatje. Dan zou de koffie staan te koken. Zelfs een horeca-uitvoering als Bravilor gebruikt voor het warmhoudplaatje 50 W. Voor thuis zal dat misschien de helft zijn.

Gaan jullie maar hard "roeien" in Nederland. Wij in Rusland douchen heerlijk een uurtje, en met de verwarming op 24, komen we de winter wel door en dat allemaal voor omgerekend 5 euro per maand.

@@gabgoe de essentie is dat men in Nederland, het verwende westen, zich blind staart op "groen" en "duurzaamheid", terwijl het geen flikker uitmaakt. De landen waar het om gaat, doen niets aan het probleem en produceren goedkoop, maar vervuilend, om jullie verwend te houden. Ja, ik woon in Rusland en we zullen deze domme sancties ook weer overleven. Maar jullie zijn systematisch 80 jaar opbouw en vooruitgang aan het afbreken. Domme politici die het in de EU voor het zeggen hebben, maken alles stuk. Leuke filmpjes gaan de boel niet redden.

@@Onsdeefke o, Dave, wat spitsvondig van jou. "van Westen" haha, geniaal. Daar heb je vast lang over moeten nadenken om tot zoiets grappigs en origineels te komen. En daarbij tegelijk ook een diepgaande bijdrage aan de discussie te leveren. Bravo!
