Good video but just something from the viewers side. When you editing only play music during time lapses and b roll, the content speaks wlll engage people itself the music just make it distracting while you are talking or showing stuff you are working on. Just make that one change man and I can see this channel growing fast. Also find a song for the outro with lyrics, it eventually, just makes the ending more memorable even if people don't realize it, just look at Jimmy Oakes and Adam LZs channels for example. Good luck man!

Yall need to keep in mind, thats a set up for his car for his liking. Dont go all changing your set up to mach his. The biggest benefit that he saw came from spring rate change. The front raise pull grip from the rear, the e36/e46 need rear higher then front to have more grip, because of antisquat. Dont belive me, test it. Lower the front back to where it was, raise the rear to be 0.5" higher then front. Measure from the oem jack points, w/o the rubber pads. If you think that car is fast now, wait until you try the correct rake.

Cool to see tips from someone who can actually throw down at the track! We run up to 16k up front on flat tracks but 12 & a swaybar might be the best allrounder tho.

Woooooo thanks! And I’m tempted to try 14k once I go up to a 235 from a 215. It just scrubs so perfectly right now I’m worried about adding tire to account for the extra spring
@SkidShopOnline
@SkidShopOnline Күн бұрын
@@Drift.Things i can see that coming back to bite you. Nothing wrong with 215s on a 12k, especially as they are so smooth. But if you want to run a 265-285 in the back(common here in europe) they aren't adequate. So a 235/40 17 does the job, 245/40 17 is a tight fit but still doable in my experience. 😃

@Drift.Things
@Drift.Things 2 күн бұрын
In the rear I agree! Trailing arms make good usable grip. But s14 also super grippy! But when it comes to front end turn in and transitions, it’s hard for the e36 to compete. The front end of the Silvia is so light/nimble and the car transitions very quickly because of it. It’s the king of snappy entries!

It all depends on fuel! What fuel will you be using? 2.8 crankshaft and 84.5mm bore is best for boost! Unless you’re trying to make 800+. Non vanos head is best for factory dual valve springs. You can port it for vanos

I have a PPF tubular bottom mount manifold which sit turbo even lower. I also have a G35-900 (Pulsar). The manifold is made for Precision turbos which mount at a different angle so the G35 sits a lot closer to the block, i had to grind webbing off the block and tranny. PPF normally run a scavenge pump with this manifold, which i dont want. I clocked the entire drain flange on the turbo so it's pointing directly at the fitting on the pan at about a 10-12 degree angle, and the fitting itself points up at about 10-12 as well. Will be interesting to see if it works. The drain flange is a little bit above the pan gasket level.

Very clean. Have to go back and watch part 1 and 2. I'm hoping to spend a little more money on a 3.0 liter stroker with the M54 crank. I find most recommend lowered compression pistons when building an engine but there are plenty of blown M52's and a fresh engine with cutrings should hold just fine as a street/track day car. Not sure if you are doing 1/8, 1/4 mile pulls on the regular.
