Chris’ story is wild. It’s amazing what he’s become. Very inspiring. I have been sober from opiates for 6 years. I have two amazing children and a beautiful loving wife. You can get through the shit dark days and find a good life!

This dude is my idol. 2 1/2 years clean off all mind altering substances. Spent the vast majority of my 20s stealing from family, lying to everybody and becoming a shell of my former self specifically so I could inject heroin. That was my life. Everyday. Wake up , scrape together 20 bucks and pray to god I could get a ride to the plug somehow. What a miserable existence. Even overdosed with my daughter with me. Today I have 50/50 custody of my 7 year old and I’m expecting a set of twins in October 2023. God is good.

Amazing. Gave me incredible anxiety as his story is somewhat similar. Brought back a lot of bad memories, but sometimes it’s good to remember. Keep up the great work, Chris.

I celebrated 5 years Friday. I’m also a public speaker who shared his story to inspire others to make good choices! Hardest thing that no one who hasn’t experienced it can not understand.

As a former heroin and cocaine addict, this really hits home. Chris was one of my favorite players when he was in college, I'm so happy he got his life together

This man is unbelievably courageous....I can remember watching him play with the Nuggets and the Celtics. Good player and he was fierce. Better yet, he is a greater person talking to millions around the country about his struggles with addiction and all of the misfurtunes he endured personally and professionally. GOD bless you Chris and thank you for your work, bringing awareness and prevention techniques to help many obstain from alcoholism and drug use.
