Ok so “fracking” is just a form of well stimulation and that is conventional oil and gas production, well stimulating has been going on for a very long time. Hydrochloric acid for example has been used for a very long time to stimulate wells, using sand and water in horizontal wells is just a newer way of stimulating wells in tight oil in shale.

Look up “global greening” CO2 is actually very good for the environment, it helps plants grow. All the carbon stored in coal beds and oil was historically free in the earth biological system so releasing carbon as CO2 actually fertilizes the earth and causes more 02 as plants 🌱 grow.

SOLUTION: We need to mandate grocery stores provide a non-plastic version of everything and make it obvious which products don't have plastics and synth ingredients. Maybe a no-plastic product directory for all industries. Any person should be able to completely opt out of plastics without the burden of having to look very close to make sure they're actually buying synth-free. we're working on a directory but we need more brands and suppliers to opt out of synthteics in order to get onto the directory

I'm sorry Terrence Colins(a synthetics-producer), but the plastic industry, your industry, is most definitely at fault, you don't deserve to take a spotlight, you can't be trusted. The chemicals don't need to be changed, they need to be banned. The fossil oil, plant oil, and plastic industry should bear most of the responsibility of cleaning up the mess and paying restitution to those who suffer and die prematurely. It is unforgivable to politicize this topic like you are. It's plain and simple; making synthietcs as an economic short cut is not sustainable, it's destabilizing! And your redirecting the narrative, the public focus, from what we should be doing; banning synthetics to what we shouldn't be doing: making new ones to "eventually make plastics more safe or more "recyclable" in the future" is an excuse to make and sell more life-harming pollution, that makes you an enemy of the planet.

Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are now widely found in many of our food and products. This widespread exposure poses a serious risk to our health and well-being. Studies have linked EDCs to a range of health issues, including reproductive problems, developmental delays, and certain cancers. It is crucial that we take steps to minimize our exposure to these harmful chemicals and advocate for stricter regulations to protect public health.

For several years, I researched the synergistic effects of toxic compounds. Now, consider the potential synergies of these chemicals in plastics with various other chemical pollutants in aquatic environments. The interactions between these different pollutants can have complex and far-reaching consequences on aquatic ecosystems. Understanding these synergistic effects is crucial for developing effective strategies to mitigate the impact of pollution on our environment.

Little research has been done? huh? After listening to Dr Kriebel, I did very basic searches on 3 different search engines and found many articles and videos about the carcinogenic and other toxicity of tattoo ink and injections. Dr Kriebel's information was so vague, I question his credibility. And, CHE, partnering with companies in the thick of THE CANCER INDUSTRY doesn't do a lot for your credibility either.

I am a non-scientist and I would like to share my perspective on EDC's with the intent to educated the average person, in a manner that we understand. My goal is to eliminate the use of EDC’s, particularly phthalates, through information. We have brought these toxins into our homes in scented products that include the term “fragrance” in the ingredient list. The average person, given all the information, will make an intelligent decision. One person can’t, by themselves, control what’s in the soil, what’s in the water or what’s in the air; but one person can control, right now, the products that they bring into their home. Especially when the possible outcomes of using these products are outlined in a manner that anyone can understand. My particular interest is in phthalates. Their only purpose is to make the scents in products last longer; small benefit for the immense harm they cause. There is so much focus on how EDC’s affect reproduction, what about the other 6 endocrine glands? Also, the focus has been on ingestion; what about inhalation and absorption (which is how phthalates get into our bodies in the home)? Do you think that anyone would give up their fertility for a scented shampoo? Become morbidly obese in exchange for burning their favorite scented candles? Risk depression, Autism, OCD, ADHD, extreme behavior for plug-ins? Compromise their immune system to have their clothes scented with a dryer sheet? Suffer with road rage for scented garbage bags? Not likely. Not if they knew the truth. This past spring, I saw a 4 part documentary streaming on MAX called ”Not So Pretty” about chemicals in the beauty industry. Part 3 “Skin” was of particular interest to me. It was about phthalates, BPA and BPA replacement chemicals, inspired by a book by Stacy Malkan “Not Just a Pretty Face” “The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry”. The next morning, I woke up to an AHA! Moment. (Dr. Swan was a part of this doc. Please pass along my thanks to her for being part of my AHA!) I spent the next several months researching the feasibility of my AHA! I wrote a paper (not scientific) to document my findings. Not being a medical professional, some of it is done in question form (but the answers are obvious.) The paper is called “The Common Thread That Weaves the Extreme Chaos in the US Today”. It’s in pdf form and I would be happy to pass it along to anyone interested. Stacy Malkan was kind enough to read it and offer me feedback. See said that even though she didn’t fact check it, that it contained a lot of important information and it was presented in a way that people could wrap their heads around EDC’s. She wished me luck in getting the information out there. Seeing a request on this video to open a conversation with non-scientists, I see as that luck. As I was researching my AHA!, I had the news on. I guess you could say that I started to reverse engineer some searches from the news items. When a news item surfaced, I searched to see if it led back to the endocrine system and it’s likely disruption.. And it did. One of the news items: Could the blocking of oxytocin (bonding hormone) cause a parent to never bond with their child and leave them in the back of a locked car in the heat, resulting in their death? All my information on the endocrine glands and how they behave on EDC’s has come from endocrine.org, MAX doc and KZfaq lectures by professionals participating in the MAX doc. Informing the public eliminates the need for government agencies to legally regulate these products and industries (for now) and allows the individual to be empowered with information to take control of their lives, their home environment and the health of their families, right now. It doesn’t have to be a promise or a probability but only a possibility of what could happen. The average person is not stupid, in this case, just uninformed (or lied to). I have so many more questions: What part did EDC’s play in affecting (weakening) immune systems in relation to AIDS crisis in the 1980’s and during the Covid pandemic? There are so many items in neighborhood groups about missing pets. Either there are a lot of careless pet owners or the pets are trying to escape something in the home. Scented candles? Scented cleaning products? If a pets’ sense of smell is so much better than ours, how do EDC’s in the home affect them? Could EDC’s be the cause of both the bullies and those bullied? Could EDC’s cause the extreme behavior of the bullies and the reason that the victims are bullied; bullied for not being able to carry a pregnancy to term and need an abortion?; being bullied for being a drag queen, a transsexual? Morbidly obese? Sound familiar? How many less pharmaceuticals would be needed (the decrease in the need for insulin) by eliminating phthalate containing products from the home? NIH says that 90-95% of the cases of diabetes in the US are Type 2, which means it can be eliminated by environment and diet. How much is caused by EDC’s? MY WISH LIST - how to get the truth to the average person This can be done now and regulate EDC’s later. No one (unless their neuroendocrines are affected by EDC’s) would knowingly use products with “fragrance” in them, when informed. Make the blood test for phthalates / BPA (and BPA replacement chemicals) free - Make a documentary on phthalates with all 7 endocrine glands and possible affects - (Michael Moore?). The people who need this information the most may not be able to afford MAX Offer it on KZfaq for free. I’m doing what I can to spread the truth from here. Please do what you can to spread the truth from where you are with words that everyone understands. Thanks for your time.

Studies have found that thermal receipts can contain BPA that is 250 to 1,000 times greater than the amount in a can of food. BPA, a chemical used in the production of polycarbonate plastics, as well as bisphenol S, or BPS, were detected on receipts from retailers such as Walmart and restaurants including McDonald's, the study found. "Receipts are a common exposure route for hormone-disrupting bisphenols which readily absorb through the skin.

Hello. Just ran across your site. My husband was a Air Force fire fighter at Whiteman Airforce base in the mid to late 70’s. Served three years. After leaving the Airforce he was a fire fighter at the 928th tactical air lift group Air Force reserve at Chicagos O’Hare international airport. Served from 77 to 83. During his service in the Airforce they used that foam for training purposes all the time. In the tactical air lift group he was awarded the metal of valor for laying under a burning jet fuel tanker to cap the leak. He was doused with the stuff. During his life he has struggled with high cholesterol, high blood pressure,asthma and psoriatic arthritis. As of this year September he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. We filed with the VA for the cholesterol, blood pressure, asthma and psoriatic arthritis. That was all denied and has been in appeals for 1 1/2 years. We have filed another claim for the prostate cancer. I have been keeping an eye on all the information regarding these forever chemicals. Thank you for all this information.

IN ONE YEAR YOU GET ONE COMMENT! YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR EVIDENCE DIRECT TO PARENTS becuase all Gov. Agencies simply do not care what is happening to our children or the environment. Taking the entire UK into account, the PRIME REAL ESTATE IS WORTH BILLIONS. Children and biodiversity are collateral damage. Stop talking and ACT!

A 3G shredded tyre long-term dumpsite (disguised as a sports field) was installed 130 feet from and 30 feet higher than the water level of our once enchanting unique oasis pond/lake and within months all pond weed died, all water lilies and most shrubs and roses watered from the pond/lake water. That was 5 years ago and there is no sign of recovery despite filtration and airration of the pond/lake water. About 95% of all the wonderful species that were here are now NOT HERE! For what it is worth mentioning I conclude that the shredded tyre grains, spread on open land, abraid, decay. perish and decompose into a fine micro chemical containing dust, in hot dry weather, and a chemical dust/paste in wet weather. The micro dust is inhaled by children and the paste of the wet micro paste gets into skin pores, cuts, grazes, eyes, noses and ears. It is OBVIOUS this is not good for children so why is so much study required to PROVE THE OBVIOUS? I thnk it pathetic that so much talk and research TAKING YEARS is disgraceful because whilst you talk and research the OBVIOUS, many thousand of children are inhaling the evil harmful abraided micro dust to set them up for illness in their later years. All the time you dither you do not considering the OBVOIUS hence more and more kids are being poisoned as is the environment and ecosystems like mine are being destroyed. I appreciate your studies and research but when someting is so OBVIOUS why do you not mention the OBVIOUS and save costly research and years of TIME doing that lengthy research? PLEASE DEMAND the ban of shredded toxic tyre grains NOW not let more years go by! I reported what happen to our paradise and all UK Gov. Agencies have pooed my concerns and complaints and have not even done a site visit here in 5 YEARS! My once amazing watercourse is now totally destroyed forever because you lot just talk and talk for years! The stuff is highly toxic and must be banned! The water table beneathh all shredded tyre toxic DUMPSITES are poisoned FOREVER. The micro particles in children's lungs may break down further by mucus acids and pass into the bloodstream of sporty children and adults to end up in the all organs, bone MARROW and the BRAIN. You are wasting so many years just talking! YOU MUST GET YOUR FINDINGS DIRECT TO PARENTS IMMEDIATELY! No one in authority cares about all your talking and they will go on poisoning kids and environmant all the time they can get away with it!

I was both surprised and disappointed that there was little or no discussion of the role that electromagnetic over-exposure plays in both acute and chronic polysymptomatic conditions. EMFs, such as power frequency magnetic fields and the microwaves from our cell and WIFI devices, have huge direct impact on neurological, fertility and cardiac issues as well as numerous indirect effects such oncogenesis, increasing the porosity of the blood-brain barrier, dysregulation of the melatonin cycle. Everyone is routinely over-exposed, especially children (WIFI in schools is a state-sanctioned hazard) and pregnant mothers and their fetuses and those of very delicate health. The Precautionary Principle needs to be engaged in this respect, given the huge body of evidence already amassed over the last few decades.

Very informative. Though, like other 'green' concepts which later prove to be a bit narrowminded, the prospect of 'composting' materials that have additives/coatings that are hazardous (especially have 'forever chemicals') are especially worrisome. Poisoning one's garden with such compostable materials hardly seems a worthwhile tradeoff when pitted against modest carbon dioxide and mining/manufacturing pollution reduction. In fact, ensuring that the most tainted packaging remains UNcompostable, so as to sequester these horrors and keep them out of the biological environment, seems a better course. Of course, the answer is to have 'compostable' items not have any such hazardous chemicals, but as mentioned here, those chemicals seem necessary for practical features (machining, gas barriers, etc).
@kengartner204
@kengartner204 Жыл бұрын
This is a good example of where The Precautionary Principle should guide how the public policy should play out. We have already established that there is health risk, even if we don't know all the details yet. It will take years or decades to slowly accrete enough research data to make a definitive statement. In the mean time, much irreparable health damage will be done. Having 'warning labels' would be helpful for people who want to have informed consent. When in doubt, try to aim for 'clean living', avoiding processed food and chemical exposures of all kinds. New chemicals are considered innocent until proven guilty. Keep that in mind.
