Amazing haul. We certainly have the same tastes. I love the Sally Forth 8. I have 3 copies currently and at one time, I had 6 copies. I have the Budd Root book as well. I am blessed with several pieces of original art from him. Can't go wrong with Dave Stevens either. Bondage as well! A man after my own heart! Congratulations on a great con haul. 🎉

Thanks! Yea that Sally Forth 8 is probably one of the best Hughes covers. I’m glad to have at least one in the PC. And hopefully next time I see Budd at a con I get a commission from him.

I might. To be honest they are not near mint though. They’re more like VG/F copies with a couple closer to VF. I’d probably sell em 30 for all four. Let me know if you want them I’ll through them on my eBay.

Wow the library book stores in my city kind of know the value for some of their comics and a lot of them are priced at $2-3 but I’ve seen some priced at $10-$20 so they are no different than the local comic bookstores.

Got kinda lucky usually this book sale doesn’t have any comic related material. They said someone gave a generous donation to the library. But I know what you mean my area is kinda tough to find deals too.

@@cryptocomicsculture I live in Hawaii so the comic book market is not so hot in my area. It just disappoints me when non profit organizations who rely on donations are not competitive when it comes to their pricing. I actually find better deals at my for profit comic book shops. My favorites are the $1 bins and one store sell them 2 for $1. A lot of these issues are fairly new and according to the clerk they just throw whatever inventory they can’t get rid off before new releases come in to fill their racks. I found some modern keys and glad to pay no more than a $1. It really helps because even if you regret buying it you can’t go wrong with a $1 or 50 cents especially these days where everything is so expensive.

@@jon6309 2 for $1. Wish I had a store like that in my area. Here in north Florida the shops know what they have. Some even have signs in the bins saying they have the right price check at counter. So I’ve been hunting at the flea markets and thrifts.

Even if you sold each of those books for a dollar you'd make a hell of a profit. Sell those trades for ten or fifteen and you'll be rolling.
