this is exactly I was about to explore with motioncam but I couldn't find the grid option in montioncam. is hyperlapse going to be a new feature that you're testing? or just use the timelapse feature & keep the phone moving?

Nice clean image and the highlights look natural, which is something that even higher end cameras struggle with. What was the ISO you shot at? How underexposed did you shoot this?

Other than the main lens and wide angle lens in my Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the 2 telephoto lenses have very bad rolling shutter. This must also be an issue with previous models, but I don't see any issues with the footage others have posted of their telephoto lens on. What can I do to avoid rolling shutter from the telephoto lens? When I shoot with the regular Xiaomi camera app the rolling shutter is much much better.

@@SebastianMerca Yes, but how do I show you? The rolling shutter is so bad that both telephoto cameras are unusable in Motioncam. It seems to me that the built in electronic stabilization of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra processes and eliminates (reduces) the rolling shutter in the Xiaomi camera app. Is it possible to update Motioncam to include the option of turning on the built in electronic stabilization?

i didn't need to get rid of the noise, because in this case it was enough light to saturate the sensors max gains (google ETTR)

If i choose in direct log video as codec "prores" with transfer function mcrawlog i am not able to play the video on my device (S23Ultra) i thought its gonna be mpeg4 format with quicktime format profile. How you capture the footage and what you do in post is more important then phone choice! Regarding 12bit, If the phone support it in CameraApi2, MC can use it!

A<B<C on KZfaq compressed 4K stream. But the difference between B & C is much small, so is between A & B but surely there is a bit of difference visible even after KZfaq compression.

On a 1080p monitor there is no difference between “a” and “b”. "C" gives an expanded picture? You probably need a 4k monitor to fully understand this. Thanks for your work friend
