Just remember that the hotel doesn't offer any coffee in the lobby and the coffee maker in the rooms are complete trash. So basically you have to walk two blocks to get a cup and that's if they're open. For a few bucks more you can stay at the Cecilia about five blocks to the east. They have an all-inclusive breakfast too. Or if you want to splurge a little stay at the Holiday Inn like I did. There's a mall near by with restaurants and places to hang out.

@@specialed6231 Yes, a coffee drinker may see it as you wrote. There is a coffee machine, I do not drink any coffee because is not good for the health and I tried enough hotels around the immigration office. From all the hotels where I slept in Asuncion and to be near the immigration office, this is the hotel that I choose for me. Tryp Hotel is nicer than those 2 you mentioned, but it is too far from immigration and I am not willing to pay the rate from the Tryp Hotel.

Nice rooms. Im planning to travel to Paraguay for plan A or B, depends how my experience is. Would I need shots? Traveling from the Netherlands For yellow fever? Dtp vaccine? Hepatitus A? The government in the Netherlands advised this?

@@nathalyrecalde7683 Yo nunca he trabajado por un salario sino toda mi vida fui emprendedor. El salario minimo en Paraguay es alrededor de 350 US Dolares, pero un professor deberia cobrar mas, busca en Google esta respuesta que lo sabe mejor que yo.

Sabe Center Hotel, es kostet weniger direkt bei der Rezeption zu buchen als per Booking.com etc, es sind 40 US Dollars per Nacht und Wohnung.

Mit Cédula kann man leicht ein sehr beschränktes Konto online eröffnen mit Selfie, z.B. Ueno, Itaú oder Atlas. Aber es ist nur Guaraní und nur max. virtuelle Karte, Bankautomat geht teilweise mit Handy. Für ein Girokonto braucht man eine Steuernummer, dazu muss man monatlich MwSt abrechnen, praktisch alle Überweisungen anmelden und erklären. Es gibt soviel ich weiss keine brauchbaren paraguayischen Konten. Die reicheren Paraguayer haben ihre Konten in der Schweiz, so heisst es.

Wir kaufen diese Produkte von dem Geschaeft mit dem Namen ZARDUS, es befindet sich nahe von Fortis MARIANO. Die Preise sind gut, ich habe sie nicht zur Hand. Nuesse, Mandeln und Aehnliches kaufen wir bei jemanden privat, da ist kein oeffentliches Geschaeft.

@@RaduProksch they are just banks that that are widely usable in ATMs all over the world, but i think you actually addressed these types of accounts toward the end of your video, i wrote that before watching the entire video, and didnt take into account that your talking about vastly larger sums of money than a ATM could provide reasonbly

Für was soll ein Bankkonto in Paraguay gut sein? Braucht man nur, wenn man in Paraguay geschäftlich aktiv ist. Absolute Katastrophe die Paraguay Banken. Und international zum Zahlungsverkehr nicht zu gebrauchen. Ich lebe in Paraguay und hab in vielen Ländern Konten. Ausser in Paraguay. 😂 Für Banking wahrscheinlich das ungeeigneteste Land der Welt.

@@Colette_45 Ich brauche und benutze mein Bankkonto von Paraguay, ohne dies mein Leben wäre komplizierter. Ich brauche aber keinen internationalen Transfer zu tun. Sonst hätte ich ein Girokonto geöffnet und da kann man auch Geld vom Ausland überweisen, ich habe beim Hauskauf Geld von Spanien gesendet, es ist nicht unmöglich, Geld nach Paraguay per Banküberweisung zu senden.

@@RaduProksch Ja. Interessant. Wohnungskauf habe ich mit Revolut Multiwährungskonto in Dollar erledigt. Das hat 5 Minuten gedauert. Ich habe meine Einnahmen jedoch international und die Wohnungsmiete kassiere ich en efectivo. Ich wundere mich halt immer, wenn die Deutschen unbedingt Konten hier möchten, wofür. Hab es noch nie gebraucht. Allein diese nervigen Nachfragen und die katastrophale KYC. Da gibt es international so viele Möglichkeiten, selbst mit Paraguay Wohnsitz Konten zu eröffnen. Ordentlich mit Swift Anbindung. Aber gut, wenn man hier Erfahrungen austauschen kann und einige profitieren können. Schöne Grüsse.

We are from Florida and are familiar with having plenty of these things, but I am wondering if you see spiders everyday especially in your home. Hi Shelley We have small spiders that are not a danger, they do not harm us. Mosquitoes are not such a big deal that we cannot handle. We use repellant and do not have a big problem with them either. I do not change Paraguay with any other country in the world.

Soweit ich weiß, kann man so viel Geld in bar einführen, wie man will. Ab 10.000 Dollar muß man das bei der Einreise deklarieren, aber legal einführen darf man das durchaus. Oder bin ich da falsch informiert? Und übrigens: _Noch_ gibt es in Deutschland keine Bargeldobergrenze, aber bei größeren Beträgen (10.000 Euro oder so) muß man seine Personalien angeben.

@@colxplosion gut zu wissen, in Spanien gibt es schon längst bei Gewerbetreibenden eine Grenze von 3000 Euro Bargeld, wenn es noch nicht runtergestuft wurde.

Moin Radu, dazu möchte ich folgendes ergänzen: 1. Wenn man Bargeld mitbringt und hier auf einer Bank einzahlen möchte, muss man die Herkunft nachweisen (d.h. die Zollanmeldung aus Deutschland und Zollanmeldung hier muss erfolgen) 2. Ich habe letztes Jahr bei der UENO Bank online ein Konto eröffnet - soll in 10 Minuten funktionieren aber hatte die Freischaltung erst nach etwa einer Woche (Dazu muss ein Selfie + Cedula hochgeladen werden). IMHO kann man dort bis zu 3 Monatsgehälter (8Mio GS) ohne Nachweis einzahlen; dazu gibt es im Land verteilt WEPA Automaten. Ich meine aber die UENO kann noch keine Gelder aus dem Ausland empfangen. 3. Gelder (höhere Summen) haben wir über eine Genossenschaft hier rübergeholt - die kümmern sich auch um die Dokumente bzgl. Geldwäsche. Die meisten gehen über die Pfannl in Independencia; wir haben die Nanduti in Itauga genommen da es näher am Wohnort liegt und der Vizechef deutsch spricht. Der Wechselkurs liegt dann ca. 500Pkt unter dem Durchschnitt - das zweigt sich die BNF ab als "Gebühr" für die Geldwäscheprüfung (d.h. wenn der Wechselkurs bei 8000GS je EUR liegt dann kommen nur 7500GS an. Ist halt so)

Warum Geld nach Paraguay einführen? Der Guaraní wertet zum Euro ab und Geschäfte (Grundstücke, Wohnungen, Häuser) wickelt man mit US Dollar ab. Lediglich auf Kooperativen kann man Guaraní halten mit hohen Verzinsung. Das ist eigentlich der einzig plausible Grund, in Paraguay sehr hohe Summen Guaraní zu benötigen.

@@Colette_45 Viele wollen ihr Geld rüberholen und ich persönlich vertraue dem Guarani mehr als dem Euro. Aktuell ist wieder eine Abwertungsphase - das stimmt. Wenn man sich aber den Verlauf über 5 Jahre (oder länger) anschaut, gab es schon immer ein auf- und ab. Zudem kann man seine getauschten Euros hier zu 12-15% verzinst anlegen während die Euros in Europa wohl eher von der Inflation vernichtet werden wenn man keine Anlage findet die wenigstens 6-7% abwirft.

Most of the houses do not have a cellar in Paraguay and this one is also without a cellar and yes, humidity can be an issue, but it is not in every house.
