How does a Beta male make a video calling out another man on being a man?? LoL You call BC awesome and that he handles himself at an elite level, but when a program of his doesn't work out for you, you come on with a video to discredit him on his character, lame.

Cool list. Wasnt expecting Storm as #1. Even Mark from LoG says it’s his least fave. But definitely some good songs on it. I’m an older fan who is been listening to their records more past wrath. All have some good songs! I was really into sacrament when I was growing up. Blacken the Cursed Sun is one of my faves. Was surprised at first when I discovered alot of fans don’t rank it to highly. But I enjoy some of the deeper cuts on it like Foot to the Throat (the chorus riff is so cool and fun to play on guitar). lol I guess I look at them as how fun they are to jam on guitar.

Honestly, Node and Mesmer feel like they're lingering in the shadow of Singularity, and it's only when they released Alien that they felt like they were trying something new, and weren't trying to capture lightning in a bottle again.
@jaydennis19996 ай бұрын
It can be hard to find your identity and sounds again when you lose a key member. It sounds like they finally found their new sound with their last 2 releases.
@r0b0coffee6 ай бұрын
I appreciate that Born of Osiris is continuously changing, where no album sounds alike, but they all sound like BoO, which is something many bands fail to pull off. Some bands are actually scared of experimenting and changing their sound for fear of being considered sellouts, and to be fair, some bands do sell-out, but not BoO. Some bands get tired because they make the same stuff, where their discography becomes fan service. So bands are stuck between being accused of fan service and being accused of selling out.

Hindsight has a couple good songs but all it really did is show that once they finally made an amazing album from start to finish (look at yourself), it's almost like Frankie became bothered that he may not be so hated anymore and had to double down on the cringe nu metal stuff and really...other than uncontrollable descent...put no effort into the second half of the album ..... hindsight was a tremendous disappointment after look at yourself. There's no regard to the fact that glass cloud literally dissolved to make this happen.... Hindsight has some good songs but it's C tier at best...coming off of an A tier album previously and their peak. Hopefully, Frankie has been listening to alot of DARKO lately and feeling regret. Korn and Limp Bizkit are lame influences. It's time to move on. Let Josh Travis write.
@jaydennis19997 ай бұрын
Pretty sure Josh Travis is inspired by those "lame influences" too. Glass Cloud was also dissolving before Josh ultimately finished. It's okay to not love Hindsight but to claim that it was remotely phoned in is incorrect. It's a solid concept album with a running theme and consistent sound. It would be both a shame and a gift if it were their final album.

@jaydennis19998 ай бұрын
Public Execution is probably my favorite track on the album. It's a little long but I love the 80s thrash elements along with TWW sounding chorus and heavy middle section. Picture Perfect reminds me of a more upbeat version of Another Hero Lost. 2 great songs and I really appreciate your take and feedback \m/

I need to revisit that. It came out during a pretty hard period of my life so I only listened to it once. Songs like Watchtower and Sacrifice definitely elevate it, but from what I remember; it's otherwise a middle of the pack album. Much better than their lowest material, but not their best either. I was hoping it would lean heavier into the heavy like Zombie 2 EP did.
@modifeye67219 ай бұрын
@@jaydennis1999 yes do revisit it! It’s definitely a helper if you’re going through stuff. It came out during a nice time for me, but now that I’m in a weird spot it definitely helps. It’s definitely more emotionally heavy than musically heavy. Hope you enjoy it! :)

I really cant relate. The first three records are the best. Nocturnal, Miasma, Unhallowed. 4th place would be ritual...rest is debateable, but everblack is in absolute last place. Production, songs just lackluster. Weakest intro and the song about the actual black dahlia murder had a weak simple riff. Ill note that their beloved absentee rips but thats it.
