What Islam has done is just to regulate it so that men do not take more women than they can care for. Besides, Islam does not make polygyny compulsory for men. It only allows it in circumstances where it becomes necessary. Also, there is nothing like Islam allows polygyny to stop sexual harassment. It does not allow sexual harassment at all.
