I just found out in the group named Man Of Action how they got the idea of Ben 10 because they had other ideas before Ben 10 was finalized but when they were trying to pitch an idea but they were rejected and they had 10 or 12 idea optional before the final Choice was Ben 10 Sam Register accept the idea of Ben 10.

I always thought the vampires and werewolves were a very cool aspect to wetworks

Duncan's work totally blew me away as a kid. I was just discovering comics and comic book art and his stuff stood out big time. I found his work through his Alpha Flight run. Such great stuff. I still revisit this work regularly, still absolutely love it! I hope he plans on doing more comic book work soon.

Awesome graphic novels

I hated these comics when they came out in 1978. Everything about them was crap. First of all the giveaway x-wing and tie fighter were nothing like those seen in the movie. The x wing was ok, but the tie fighter was a joke. Second the art was awful. Characters looked nothing like the actors. Luke looked more like a 38 year old HeMan. The style was scrappy and rushed, just poor work. Third someone made the decision to use the cut scenes. Back then we didn’t know what cut scenes were so the first comic bore little relationship to the movie we were massive fans of. Lastly it was in black and white! In America colour comics were the norm, for a property as huge as Star Wars it should have been colour. Everything about this release was crap. I turned my back on it very early on. Shame on them for just trying to cash in cheaply on this. It really was awful.

Why Disney has not made Meridian into a movie or TV series is beyond me. It is custom made for live action.

A full cinematic film for Ben 10 be it a trilogy or anything, should begin with the Rueters and Kevin 11, before Ben. Then introduce Bellwood scenes of Mac and Gwen Ben getting out of school to go on vacation. Boom.

I started when an alien device did what it did it stuck itself upon his wrist the secret that it hide now he’s got super powers he’s no ordinary kid he’s Ben 10 he’s Ben 10

I remember he was sick and not his sister. I was very sad. It’s like a “ Mandela effect “. My whole life, I’m 40, been speaking of this since I was 12. It makes no sense. He’d start a company with his buddies, wetworks was hyped, there was toys etc. To do an issue or two then leave & then return a couple years later. 😳. I remember how sad his comrades were also. This is unbelievable.

Barbara's writing had both innovative solutions and cooperation in the works (with Meridian as prime example). Characters came alive, had depth, personality, good guys made moral decisions, there was an actual story being unfolded. All of these things are missing in many comics that seem more intent on grinding out issue after issue with a peppering of their own political agenda.
