Great insights! So true, I am working on those topics now, (last two years) as I neglected them for so many years. Thanks!

Amazing! Thanks a lot. When it comes to legato playing, do you believe all players should work on All Hammers Legato, or just ones interested on that sound?
@RafaelTrujilloEducation7 күн бұрын
It is a very interesting approach but I wouldn't say one thing is better than the other. I think it is a personal reference but also it makes sense to try out both ways and see what works best.

Hey everyone, thanks for joining me for these daily workout routines! As always, you can get the GP files and the backing track through my Patreon page: www.patreon.com/rafaeltrujillo. If you want to practice these exercises at different tempos, it can be very effective to use the Guitar Pro files. This time I guide you through the process of building up speed and precision using the legato technique. Timing is the key here, so make sure you really get the rhythm of the patterns before going into faster tempos. Have fun practicing and let me know what you wanna see next!

Totally agree that this is a "must know". Most guitarists underestimate the importance of knowing where to "find" the common (and not so common) triads, especially when communicating or playing with other musicians. I too practice similar exercises at least twice a week after having neglected triads for ages... Great and very helpful video. Thanks!

Do you have any type of string skipping workout?
@DannyHood-j14 күн бұрын
I have no idea (open hand position) and closed hand position? You did not give example? Although I understand your example on G scale (legato) then ‘hybrid pick’ the fourth note on the (A string)

Hey Rafael, just a follow up question. Are all of those workouts from every technique meant to be practiced daily? or is it just a technique workout per day? I'm making these videos my main routine nowadays, I'd like to practice them but the right way hehe. thanks for the videos and thanks in advance.
@RafaelTrujilloEducation15 күн бұрын
Hey, that's a good question. It really depends on how much time you can spend on each practice session. Ideally, you should focus on the same workout for a longer period of time (on a daily basis) to build proficiency. For example, if you have 30 minutes to practice, you could combine three different 10-minute workouts, or one 20-minute workout and one 10-minute workout. Stick with these workouts consistently for a few weeks before mixing them up and replacing them with other workouts. This approach will help you develop a solid foundation and make noticeable progress. I hope that answers your questions.

@@RafaelTrujilloEducation Thanks a lot man. That clears it up. I'll try to develop every technique separately.

@@Juan6Meses Guitar takes more than just practice. Sleep good. Eat healthy, practice warm up , Then Get wired on coffee. Get into it, don’t stop. Only someone like ‘Sebastian Bach’ could practice 30 minutes a day and move forward. Average peaple like ‘slash’ from Guns N’ Roses learn guitar from ‘staying high’ all night jamming with friends or learning songs from record,, or writing songs adapting everything they learn in different keys whatever..

If you want to practice these exercises at different tempos, it can be very effective to use the Guitar Pro files. Today's routine combines alternate picking practice with scale practice. These shapes are very important for all skill levels, so make sure to be able to execute them in any key all over the fretboard. Is this easy for you to do? Or is it fast or too slow? Let me know so I can improve these videos. Thanks 🙏🏻
