Greetings, great video. I have a mission scheduled behind the mountains, I will surely lose TX signal, I will use the parameter failsafe_mission_delay = -1 so that the mission continues using the GPS. But what happens if I also lose the GPS? What function would this parameter do in the mission failsafe_gps_fix_estimation_delay = -1 ?. Would it be better to activate the failsafe_gps_fix_estimation_delay = 7 ? Would this activate the FS even if I have the ailsafe_mission_delay = -1 ?

Hi, I wanna build my antenna Is it that hard to make a good antenna for long range? (+10km) I didnt have any back ground in Electrical/Signal. Is there any guide to make a helical antenna? For me, the factory made ORT antenna 12turn is so expensive ($50)

Your avg speed was 37km/h. This is your problem. In a real long range flight it is unacceptable. If you don't want to fall asleep during flight you have to fly min. 70-80 km/h. But at least 60. Test your plane with this avg speed. You will be surprised how bad it conpsumes. I suggest using a 2807 1700 kv motor on 4s with a 7x4.5 prop. I used it on my Mini Talon with 4s2p 6000 18650 and on Skywalker x5, both have same wingspan as your plane. Hurry up and go HD! But forget Walksnail, go with Dji or Openipc. I use Dji, flying 20 km far is a routine task, it can fly up to 30 km far. Now I use 18650 Lg mj1 cells, 6s2p config, T-motor 3110 780kv, 9x5 Aeronaut nonfolding prop, cruising at 80 km/h on 6 amp. But the 4s setup is also a good option I mentioned before. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kJZgetaf297Jgmg.htmlsi=ON4I1EeTZvUWzlGu

Great video! I was thinking about making a medium ranged fixed-wing UAV and was wondering where to begin? How do you design your models? How do you know if it'll fly or not, is there a simulator or is it just trial and error?

I don't know if it's a bad idea or a good one but I've had to think about why we don't design a Patent, for When the wings of the aircraft absorb the air it can. Being able to generate energy to the same battery inside the Plane, I think it may be possible and very interesting to see it one day created, I think it would help the autonomy of the plane to generate more Time on the air, it's a great idea I think

cool to see auto missions, Arduplane with mission planner can do very sophisticated ones, and easy to use once set up. I sometimes am curious about Inav, but Arduplane does everything I need, so never taken the time to try it.
@senseisecurityschool9337
@senseisecurityschool9337 16 күн бұрын
@@FPVREVIEWS Comparing the two: Ardu has all kinds of little-used options for weird things, and good support for redundancy. Redundant sensors, redundant receivers, etc. Ardu is a good fit if your company or university has a team of four or more people setting all this up on a $100,000 aircraft. INAV is about 10X easier to set up and fly. INAV is well suited when there are one or two people setting up and flying an aircraft that costs maybe $100-$4,000, and probably has one receiver, one GPS, etc.
@FPVREVIEWS
@FPVREVIEWS 16 күн бұрын
@@senseisecurityschool9337 Hmm. I would disagree. I have been using Arduplane for the hobby by myself since 2015 and find it relatively quick to set up. I have made my own notes, and follow them, to ensure continuity, and I usually set it up on the very first flight. It has saved a couple of my aircraft from other failures on the maiden flight, so I actually see it as a safety advantage. I think the real problem is that most people assume it is more complex than it actually is to setup. of course all of those advanced features are available if you choose to use them, but they do not get in the way of an amateur builder. I write like it myself, but it was intimidating not knowing before I tried it.

Hi, how to you protect the prop from breaking on landing? It seems that the prop extends below the bottom surface of the fuselage. Would a triangular block or a couple of triangular fins on the underside of the fuselage just in front of the motor have an effect on flight characteristics?
