Those trees have seeded and grown on your land for a variety of reasons. But since they have died off, that's all moot. If you don't take them to burn, that's 2X the waste. Wasteful living haunts anyone who does that. You are a good man. Keep on keeping on.

Thank you for the kind words and for watching! I try to be a good steward of the land while I can. I also don’t mind leaving some deadfall to rot away in place for the critters that use it and to enrich the soil. Thanks again!

When I was younger I cut and split all my wood because I enjoyed it and had no money to buy it. Now for every $100 I pay per cord stacked, my back lets me split and stack a half cord. I'd rather support a hard working local than the gas company.

It's great that you get the exercise. I love using wood that would otherwise go to waste. You cannot apply value to free time because if you worked instead of cutting wood then you would gain more stress and less relaxation and recovery time which is valuable. Plus the exercise gained from collecting, splitting and carrying wood will extend your life way beyond the initial time spent. God Bless you.

Evening. I've got a couple questions seeing as my 3600 came without the manual !! I filled up the oil using the oil supplied from manufacturer. Almost took the entire bottle. Is there a break in period / let run for X hours / minutes ? If so, once broke in, should I drain the supplied oil and refill with better oil ? Example synthetic ? Thanks again.
@scottthornandhisbeesandtrees2 күн бұрын
Congratulations, and I hope you like it! Sorry to hear about no manual. I found my manual but there is no mention of a break in period for running without load. It does recommend changing the oil after the first 30 hours, then every 100 hours after. For the type of oil it says SF, SG, SH, SJ or higher. I’d say that synthetic would be acceptable but I don’t use it. They recommend cleaning the air filter every 25 hours, with replacement at 200 hours. Hope that helps!

@scottthornandhisbeesandtrees Noted. A generator rookie here. Sounds like a 5w-30 will suffice. This unit is strictly for a small freezer, a side by side fridge, and a small window a/c. ( 8000 btu ). I've purchased a several 12 gauge 50' cords which I'm hoping are heavy enough for said applications. Side note: heavy cords are pricey, and are not to be excluded in considering this purchase ! Thanks again.

I used to work for the Swedes who owned most of G.E. Mobile Communications in Lynchburg Va. The experience I am about to share typifies their mentality. This video is the one which the Husqvarna website includes within its own pages. I have no doubt the fellow in this video is from somewhere near Charlotte N.C. This would explain his inept approach to the task. I just purchased a Husqvarna 525L String Weed Eater yesterday Tuesday June 25 2024... for $350 + 5.5% Tax When i got the unit home there were no tools with it, but these tools were shown in the operators manual.. However, in the opwrators manual there are no actual part numbers for anything...Those can only be found in the Parts List publication which is not included. I contacted the automated help desk and stated my issue, supplying appropriate model number, SKU Number and Serial Number...plus the reference numbers of the missing tools from the "what is what " pictorial within the Operators Manual. I then received an eMail asking for my receipt to be forwarded through a hyperlink which contained no actual hyperlink. It was also requested i send the actual part numbers of the missing items, being the special tools. I then downloaded the actual Parts / Service Manual from the Official Husqvarna website... There were no such tools listed or shown in that manual... I also should mention that the manual was sketchy and left out critical information which would be needed for an end user to service the machine... This is frustrating but par for the course with people who are known to take underperforming employees out behind the building and re-educate them with a sack of Oranges Think im gonna take this thing back in a couple of days...exchange it for one that has everything with it...then go eat the hell out of a bunch of weeds, then take it back and trade it for something else :)

I find swarm cells,supercedure cells and emergency cells all over the frames. Emergency cells. I usually throw away the 1st days worth, if I find eggs. If I don't find eggs. I give them a frame that has eggs. They will still build on the bottom or anywhere else on the frame. They have done this in all my years of bee keeping.

I have a question I hope you can help me with. All of the adjustments work very well, better than my first saw, but the slide lock is not working. Is there any information you can provide that might tell me how to adjust the lock so the arm can move easier as well as lock in place if needed?
