Glad you have these tracks on here. Jesse's genius is unparalleled. The energy he brought with op ivy on energy and with this band is something that can never be snuffed. Even as an avid crusty and d-beat head to boot, this album and energy are on a lot of repeats throughout my life.

Despite the fact that I'm an old gen-Xer who hates everything and everyone (especially young people! Stupid kids!), I often say how some new bands are better than the ones came before: there's a more open minded approach that allows to improve a stylistic niche somehow. This one is an example of that: you have the bleak atmosphere of "dark" stuff (like some post punk, deathrock and such), with some blunt force of hardcore, but also well refined production quality without the terrible mistake of falling into mainstream or just conventional goth rock/metal, just to make sure what you're delivering can go to the point clearly and efficiently! 👍 I like Anarcho crust punk rough, lo-fi and messy, but sometimes the ultra lo-fi kinda diminish the musical strength of it. This one is made in the best way possible! Also, being Italian myself, I'm always glad to see some "Goodfellas" being notable for something that's not directly related with criminal activities! 😂
