I love watching people react to this because I love seeing people be as impressed with them as i am. Thanks for not talking over it and for reading all the captions. So many people don't, and i feel like they really deserve our full attention. They deserve everything they have received and more.

Ist time I heard this was back in the 70s for TV show Miami Vice. They were going after a drug kingpin. They used whole song. What was coming in the air?...retribution.

a masterpiece by a living legend... now start the song again, put your headphones and close your eyes, and just drift away, that's what I am doing everyday at least once :-)

Why is he not Sir Phil Collins yet? Please, friends across the pond, get King Charles on that Sh*t! To those who are interested: Genesis was formed in 1967 with another drummer whose name escapes me. Phil joined in 1970. Peter Gabriel left and in 1975 they needed a new lead singer. Phil was not interested in the job. He took over as they auditioned dozens of vocalists. They have also talked about the fact that they required talent and a sense of humor in prospective members so touring would not be such a grind. In the end the band was not confident they could find a better choice and Phil agreed to remain in the role of lead vocals. As a Genesis fan I've spoken to many others about this transition. The question of Peter vs. Phil always comes up. I would never choose. Gabriel left amicably to do his own thing. He was great as was his last album Selling England by the Pound (Check out I Know What I Like & The Cinema Show!). Listen to Phil perform some of those songs on the live double album Seconds Out! (1977). They were both great, and I don't need to choose.

You know, in some countries it's illegal to pause a Phil Collins drum solo. Check your local laws to see if you're affected.

I love this song! The chorus is so appealing to me with its mixture of afro-rhythm and a Japanese "mantra." The whole album is a journey through the process/struggles into RM's brain. The first part is absolute chaos and mental confusion. Then, the self-knowledge and acceptance of his diverse selves. Finally, the calm and safety to face the future. As always, reafirming the importance of the process of ĺoving yourself.

THIS is RM. This is who he has been for a long time. If you hear his songs in Indigo you can still him lamenting wanting to put his mask down. That’s in WILDFLOWER. A lot of BTS and RM fans aren’t shocked at all, but many felt vindicated, because they know he has been reaching for this for so so long. Now, he is finally big enough and successful enough to be able to drop something like this without anyone bugging him about needing to sell more.

All of his mixed tapes and albums are nothing like BTS so this wasn't as unexpected for the fans as you would think. He has collaborated with balming tiger in the past too. Most army fans enjoy BTS BECAUSE of the diversity and full artistic expression. So many of their tracks even on the BTS albums are more artistic. V's release was jazz. We love that we never know what we are going to get but we know it will be good and if we listen to it a few times it will expand our musical tastes even if we don't love it on the first listen.

I get that you must be extremely new to BTS and RM but comparing him, a rapper, to Justin Bieber, a pop singer, was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 Also the fact that BTS has grown up, experimented with their music and sound and always have changed their sound however they felt like and what RM's solo stuff has sounded like + how artistic he can be and how big big his interest in art and producing and writing is etc it really isn't shocking to hear him release this music. BUT it is certainly different, more alternative etc than BTS and most of his previous work but it really wasn't shocking or strange to get this from RM, not at all. This very much feels like him.

And for all the hoopla, not one "reviewer" has ever said they understand these girls have been victimised by the Japanese idol culture. No, you clowns are more concerned with putting money in your pockets than in the girls' wellbeing. Try living the idol life sometime and see what it does to you. In the meantime, GET A JOB.
