What a crap hole. I travel extensively and haven’t had an experience like this. Picking up my 15 y/o son who’s never been to IND before. Friday night 2300 hrs. He’s outside, somewhere and I stop in arrivals to pick him up. The moment I stop I have security at my window telling me I can’t park here. It’s like IND went to a halfway house and scooped up 6-8 of them, gave them a yellow shirt to approach any car that stops at the terminal. I stopped to find my son, who was lost and had security and then a cop tell me my vehicle can’t sit here. F this place. My son was upstairs mistakenly at departures. What I was trying to figure out without snoop dog knocking on my window.

What a wonderful reminder of a fun afternoon!

Videos like this make me feel a little bit more at ease. I will be flying with my special needs son (Autism/Selective mute, speech & Language delay, developmental delay, sensory processing disorder) for the first time from Seattle to Indianapolis this June. Getting him through TSA when I know he will not answer a TSA agent is what worries me the most.

I work at indianapolis airport and the IAA is the most cocky people that works here I stg lol they swear everyone is below them.

This airport looks good, and feels spacious and comfortable. But, they have forgotten about the basics. Often, an arriving plane has to wait on the tarmac for a ground crew, and this can be quite some time. But the worst is the baggage claim. I regularly wait 30-90 minutes to get my bag. That is unacceptable. So, this airport needs to concentrate on basic services before touting its pretty and spacious environment.

I have to say it was a rough time for everybody in 2020 but no matter what was going on IAA was AWESOME in making everybody feel welcomed and was there to help everybody that needed it! 2021 is going to be BETTER THAN EVER and I look to flying from the airport this year! Keep up the great work as the Best Airport in the WORLD!

This room is my favorite, for some reason it brings nostalgia.

At 2:43 - "This place was initially laid out by Engineers and then we called in the Architects." .... "And this is why everything makes sense to you, you know where you are going." Yes, laid out by Engineers but made clear and workable at a social and interpretive human scale by Architects. -or- Engineers make it functional, Architects make it usable (and pretty). A version of this terminal is currently being built in Kansas City. (MCI - Terminal A)

But you guys treat your employees that work for the shops like crap tho. We have a boss we dont need a snitch like you know who to snoop on the workers. That makes an unpleasant work environment. We as employees would like to breathe when we work. Thank you i love the airport non the less. Also why don't we have Pepsi on tap? Tired of Coke 🤪😁🖖🏾
