1. ECE product based Companies don't provide complete WFH. Hybrid Mode is possible but complete work from home in not reality upto now. 2. Possible 3. Work life usually depends on the team. Mostly work life would be good if someone is skilled enough to do the things fast but sometimes/ at some places there might be a situation where project roadmap are not properly planned and employee can face burnouts leading to bad work-life

Not really sure about MAKAUT reputation but Btech from state government college is usually okayish only so Mtech would not better than that. It is not recommended from my side to do mtech other than top colleges. There would be risk to waste another two years. If it is for getting degree only then fine else not.

@ankita2931 See, If your goal is research or teaching then phd is good. Usually PHDs are less preference in jobs as well. It is very long journey and totally depends on individual. Also, your academics score and gate score would matter during admission into IIT/NIT PHD. Mtech college reputation won't. IITs may allow direct admission to already IIT Graduates into M.tech/Phd programmes but that's altogether different story. Admission through gate requires good gate score and academics.

Yes, VLSI career is possible for B.Sc electronics guys but you have to go for masters and PG Diploma course in vlsi or May do mtech as well after MSC.

@SAKSHI-js1kq it is certainly possible to get job without mtech. Yes, You can apply off campus as well but getting Offcampus is comparatively difficult. However, If your college is able to call companies and you have skills to clear interview then no need of mtech

I guess for study purposes no. Because during student life we need various free applications. Mac doesn't not have that flexibility. However most of the tools/ student purpose have mac versions still not all. That's what I feel and for the same reason I purchased mac after my engineering.

Yes, PE & Instrumentation is not similar to Electronics and Instrumentation. Also, If you are not able to find this branch name in PSU eligibility section then that means it is not allowed. I feel you must take took branch. What is the problem in Classical ECE or ECE vlsi at btech level?

@@Singh-Rajveer The college I am getting is a 3rd tier State govt. college of Assam, guess I will have to try changing branches after 1st year, Since there's also Electronics and Telecommunication branch at the college🫠 I am also getting ETE at a relatively new state govt engg college, But it's away from home and there's not many facilities there like wifi and all....and the 3rd tier college i am getting PE&I at is only 13kms away from home... so I am thinking of staying at home and preparing for gate so I am trying to stay at home and prepare..will it be a good choice?

@@Bishhnuu I guess, No. You have to change branch atleast to Electronics and Instrumentation atleast. ECE would be best if possible to shift next year . PE & Instrumentation eligibility for various PSUs might disappoint you in future.

Depending which field you are interested in. There are both types of job roles available analog and digital. Already done Roadmap for both types. You will find videos in this channel.

@sangeetashukla396 Optional test would have basic questions from both domains but interviewer would stick to the specific job profile questions i.e. Analog / Digital until and unless you don't mention something very specific in resume.

Hybrid mode is there but not like something for a continuous year. Your team or manager might agree but most probably they will call you at least sometimes in a month. Complete WFH in vlsi is very rare.

Yes, it is not top NIT. That's why I suggested to choose TIER-1 colleges only.

@@Singh-Rajveer our seniors were placed with good package in good companies, our juniors have got internship at intel, infeneon. Just 2024 batch suffered market recession

Covid time was exception and intel's ppo conversion rate is not good. I am not saying that don't choose TIER-2 colleges but these colleges would always come with a higher amount of risk compared to TIER-1 colleges. Like for your batch: you saidno placement Similarly in TIER-1 colleges also placement was down last year but still decent opportunities were there.

I had got surat in previous counselling. The thing is people are wasting years doing nothing ,after 1 2 years you should join and not waste many years.

Electronics me to jruri hai. Electrical me kuch junior engineers ki sarkari post hoti jo mil jati hai diploma se. But electronics me high salary above 80k milna mushkil hai for diploma only.
