this hob is currently £1970 and approx £1500 for the Prime version (without scales). Does it justify the £470 extra or am I missing something? All the best

It’s one of these things, doesn’t seem worth it until you have it. We had the Elica switch before, without the scales and we prefer having the scales. Surprising how useful it is.

@@WHYTESWORLD it’s a tough one right. If it were £100 or so more then it would be a no brainier. But currently a £470 difference. I’m going for a recirculating one (not vent out) is this the same as yours and how’s it working?

Someone tell FP Journe that he needs to add anti-reflective coating to the crystal he uses for this watch. Very disappointing not to be able to see the time at all when the light hits directly. Oddly enough your video helped me cross this one off the list. Cheers mate.

I really, really do love this watch! However, one concern i have, is, that it's probably quite some hassle, to get other straps for it due to the rounded pins... Regardless, i'm on the waiting list for one, and i'm already pretty hyped!

@@yossifelder6775 It's pretty much every Journe model nowadays, though the chronometre bleu is probably one of the hardest to get, aside from the ultra limited models... But no, i think the days of walking into a boutique and outright buy a watch from Journe are over for now.

You made the right choice. Pateks have become mainstream and the Aquanaut is a Nautilus knock off. 5205 is nice but too large. Plus the chronometre bleu is a solid investment.

Slipsch go for the journe. The 1815 value plummets by about 40-50% of retail. I used to own a Lange 1, sold it at 40% off retail luckily I bought it at 40% off retail, phew!

At mid- $20k, most any professions without multiple children can find a way to afford this watch if they -REALLY- want to (not buying a new Audi every 3 years, let's say). It's just a matter of finding it at this point....
