Also running a stone over the foot while trimming will take away most of the roughness on the bottom.

I like your sense of style. Changing the lip from square to round I have found is much easier by running a leather over the lip when throwing. Be careful to not loose the leather in recycle clay. It will also come out smother to the mouth. I'm falling in love with Mishima (spelling?).

To remove throwing rings, use a metal Rib and burnish the pot, before white slip applications
Is the third time I Watch this video…I love your work! I’m mesmerized…Greetings from Bahia Blanca, Argentina

You can remove the runs by sanding or using a sharp knife. Brush it away. ❤

Hello! Beautiful work. How long do you wait until you can start trimming? Thank you
@erenarmitageАй бұрын
Until the pot is dried enough to touch and not warping, called ‘leather hard’ stage. I usually leave it out for a half day, cover it for the night (to even out the humidity), then uncover it next morning and leave it out for 4-5 hours. (Depending on the region, season, weather conditions..)

When you use clear glaze over your black clay, which clear glaze do you use? I'm experimenting with Eclipse from seattle pottery supply. The clear I have turns the black to brown. Also, are you using white glaze or slip?
@erenarmitageАй бұрын
I apply a glossy dark blue inside and leave the outside unglazed as I prefer the earthy feeling of clay. Using a white slip . You can see a full story of making here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ab-elZWm0Jarp30.htmlsi=en4ySENpLeJilKf0
