How are the plastic pulleys holding up? The higher end models have aluminum, but the price tag isn't worth it jusy for the pulleys.

Thank for the review. Appreciate you taking the time to explain in detail. You answered alot of my questions. Im also old school about working out. Still deciding if i want to get stackable or plate weights. I think you answered my question about the difference in plate and stacked. I believe plate edition is good if i have to buy the plates and save money anyway. But im also conflicted if I want to do stackable just for the convenience. But you also mention it'll be a pain in the butt to move since we'll be a whole lot heavier. What do you think?

Sorry I am just now getting back to you I have been out of commission for a while. Its really up to you but the money savings and ability to move the rack easier is what sold me. I mean if I had a lot of money and help to move it I would probably get the stacked unit? Hope this helps.

I put mine together last weekend and have finally had a chance to use it for most capabilites. I don't find the cables very smooth. I find them smoother than most home gyms but no wear near as smooth as actual gym pulley systems. I was disappointed. They are 2:1 but have way too much resistance on top of half the weight. For example, I can lat pull down 240lbs on it for sets... which is only 120lbs. 240lbs on gym equipment wouldn't be possible but 120lbs on it wouldn't even be a workout.

I'm sorry you weren't happy with the cable system. This was based on my personal experiences in mostly comparing to Lutie and other brands like that.

They have a bench but it seems overpriced to me. There are good alternatives on Amazon or I always buy a lot on Facebook Marketplace.

Thanks for taking the time to do the video. Very helpful. Question, what other brands of machines did you look at and rule out? Anything stick out to you besides customer reviews? Do you know if they sell the leg peas attachment for that machine? Thanks again!

The leg attachment is available on the Jacked Up website. I think its around a hundred dollars. I mostly did a lot of research on Amazon and tested out some Lutie models my friends had.

Thanks, I am definitely not an influencer. I am just a guy trying to give good honest feedback on what it took me to find and figure out a good piece of equipment. Also looking forward to making honest workout videos on training for people my age and older. I believe there is so much misguided information on everything from exercise to nutrition.

Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I've been searching for an honest review from someone without a conflict of interest influencing their opinion. Looks like this is exactly what I am looking for, something simple, can do free weight bench, military, and squats, PLUS has the Smith machine if I want to go heavy without a spotter, it's perfect. All the best to you.

What I've seen of Major Lutie the Jacked up Fitness seems superior but I think the Major Lutie may be cheaper price. I haven't had a chance to review the Lutie so I am just going off of reviews I have seen by others.

My experience with others who have used the Lutie is that the Jacked is a better quality with better customer support.

Honestly? It’s quite amazing, you can literally do any exercise, the cables are smooth moving and the weight is sufficient. I went ahead and ordered barbell plates for added weight and obviously for smith machine part of the apparatus, best investment!!

Good review just started researching, like your concern the pully system is the biggest for me too.. The company says the pully and cables has a lifetime warranty. it looks to be well made.

Dude I just put one together yesterday and I’m very surprised by the quality so far. Bonus: All the parts were packaged by step! Most user friendly assembly I’ve ever seen in anything. Haven’t gotten a workout in yet but looking forward to it.
