overengineer: Thank you for your informative video. I have heard that racers take out the seals and add the lightest lubrication to the bearings. Then you retain the silky smooth spinning of the bearing about itself even when placed in the BB housing. I have tried this also and it does work, though it's not something I would do because it means you have to clean the BB every few rides, if not every ride, rather than the 6 months service interval I currently have.

I had this happen from sparking on an outlet of a power strip with nothing plugged in and only two plugs were used one by a low voltage thing but like a month before a bunch of audio equipment including an 18” subwoofer were plugged into it maxing it out and it was fine

Can't figure out how a part is called opposite to a break pad, which is a part to which a rotor being pushed by a pad. This thing got worn our on my brakes, so I need to replace it, but can't find it anywhere.
@theoverengineer19 күн бұрын
Look at a diagram, major part names are caliper, piston, pad (all mounted on fork leg) Parts on the wheel are hub, rotor, bolts or a lock ring

Hi there, what method did you use to get the initial first four screws out from the bottom? Did you use the long skinny silver Phillips screw that is next to the tweezers? I am not good with tools but I found the 3D print file to replace the gear and am having trouble getting the screws out. Thanks!
@theoverengineer21 күн бұрын
It probably the skinny screw driver

I took mine off to wash it but now it won’t stay snug to the ceiling. It hangs down with at least an inch gap all around. I push it up like you showed but it slips right back out. Do I need to bend the clips?
@theoverengineer21 күн бұрын
Make sure the wire clip is actually in the right slot first, if ok then bend it if you have to

Thanks for the video! I tried to replace the battery in my CASIO G7100-1V and the battery clip would not latch. After inspection with a jewelers loop, I determined that the white plastic housing that held the clip in place wore out. I have No complaints!, my watch serve me well for over 20 years on one battery ! Time for a new watch!

Notice the two protruding dimples on the inside the female plates. Those catch the 2 holes in the plug by design, but we know on this video the plates are cheap, spread, and worn out. On a 'hospital grade' outlet those dimples grab the holes positively. BTW, the red color outlets are connected to the emergency generator bus transfer switch should there be a power failure in a hospital or other critical place (nuclear power plant, etc.). Not all outlets are fed by the emergency generator set transfer switches.
