The modern western approach of Kingdom, phylum, Class, Order, Family. Genus, Species is not without its limitations and an indian model using existing vocabulary could make for an interesting scientific exercise

Like Anand V. more scholars need to breathe new life into unpublished manuscripts - which basically holds unpublished research. Refreshing to see this being brought out as a series.

Study of natural sciences derived from observation is an ancient tradition. Anand has covered specifics of such tradition captured in 64 angas of Vrddha Gargiya Jyotisham and other texts. He points out that the method of modeling/predicting from observations is ancient and needs become prominent again.

I have seen so many Europeans and even Indians insulting India for caste, sati, and pollution while praising the British unquestioningly, and it often devolves into open racism against Indians, especially Hindus.
