China is in economic collapse ,that's why nearly all the shops ae closed - there's no sales, and you would have noticed the terminal was quite empty too.

The airport was built with the large passenger flow in mind, and many diversion measures were taken to avoid domestic and international passengers from meeting each other.

6+ hours stopover is enough to apply for a free transit hotel through Air China (if both of your flights are operated by Air China Group). You just need to show your hotel and flight information to the customs and they will give you a transit visa. It is much better than staying in PEK Terminal 3E because you can take a shower, have some rest or even go for a short tour if you have enough time.

Hi did you check in a bag? Were they strict with the weight? How would you rate the overall flight from one to ten?

I don't have any checked baggage. All in all the flight wasn't bad: I'd give it an 8/10 rating! The food was good and the seat being old was very comfy. The only flaw was the IFE which didn't work very well and was unresponsive

@FLYING EVERYDAY Next time you will depart from Palermo consider to take the train not the bus because you will arrive directly inside the airport and because the ticket is very cheap. If you take the train you'll pay 6,80 Euros. On the bus the ticket costs 10,00 Euros if you buy it outside the bus and 11,00 if you buy it on the bus.

I did this flight last year! Overall one of my favorite shorthaul flights I’ve ever taken! I was so surprised at the level of comfort with the ITA A220. The adjustable headrest, legroom/recline & even the usb/type c charging was such a welcomed amenity of a such a short-haul.

American Airlines is the worst company that fly from Milan to New York. Delta is a good compromise because the price is not high and the meals were not bad. The legroom was quite good

I dislike American and United. Both awful. Delta is the better of the 3. ITA no idea. Flew Air Italy Business before liquidation; awful.
