I have 3 essenza MIni and the same thing happened with each one. After decalcification looks like they are stuck in descaling mode. I did a factory reset and it still doesn't work. The LEDs on the buttons are flashing and no longer turning off by themselves.

This mechine is too smart for its own good. My machine does not work anymore, cant read the pods and out of warranty. Time to report to bureau.

@nespresso Im contacting from MI, USA. I had a video call with a representative, and we ran through various troubleshooting exercises. She concluded the machine is defective and the best she could offer was a 35% discount to purchase another machine (same model). Based on my research, there are many people having the same issue, and it is a very well-known problem. Im very disappointed and still have many unused pods left. I enjoyed the machine while it lasted.

Hi Lauren. We recommend filling the Aeroccino XL milk frother at least up to the “Min” level indicator (120 ml / 4.06 fl oz.), to ensure good quality of milk foam.

Avoid Nespresso Machines: Horrible Products and Even Worse Customer Service! I wish I could give Nespresso negative stars for the experience I’ve had with their machines and customer service. Last year, my daughter bought us a Nespresso Vertuo machine. We already owned the Original Nespresso machine, but we were excited to try out the new Vertuo model. That excitement quickly turned into frustration. Within six months, the Vertuo machine broke down. What followed was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. After more than seven calls and following every single troubleshooting instruction they provided, they finally agreed to replace the machine. But the replacement process was a nightmare in itself. It took a whole month to get the new machine. This kind of delay is simply unacceptable, especially for a brand that markets itself as premium. Just last week, our replacement Vertuo machine stopped working AGAIN. This was the final straw for me. I refuse to buy another Nespresso machine ever again. I decided to return all the unused Vertuo capsules to the store, only to be told they wouldn’t accept them for exchange. Now, I’m stuck with a broken machine and over 15 packs of useless Vertuo capsules. This is not the experience you should have with any product, let alone a supposedly high-end brand. Nespresso’s machines are unreliable, and their after-sales service is abysmal. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your coffee needs. Nespresso has lost my trust, and I will never recommend their products to anyone.

Hello. By pressing the machine button twice when the light is solid white, should result in a turquoise light that flashes twice. Your brew will then be concentrated for a great iced coffee recipe. Call 800.562.1465 for assistance!

This is our Concentrated Brew feature. For example, an 8 oz capsule will brew as a double espresso using this option!

It’s easier to put together IKEA furniture without the instructions, than descaling this machine. I love this machine for the coffee it makes but had I known cleaning it would be this difficult, I probably would not have purchased it.

Hi! I have the same machine but I don’t know why but never comes up the indicator light. I do the descaling process just by myself after every two weeks. I’ve never seen it. Maybe I have a lazy machine. 😅

Yep, I just did the descaling as per instructions. I did the rinsing 5 times and then made myself a coffee and it’s all good to go again. 👍🏼
