A small question- at 24:27 why do we not multiply 2 x 2 even though that’s what we have written down? Why would the answer not be 4^n+3 x3x5^n

You need to use the formula for the volume of a revolution. It is in the HL formula booklet.

Hello Mr Flynn, Just asking for some advice on my idea for my Maths AA SL IA. I was thinking of optimising the shape of a moisturiser face cream container to hold the most cream, taking inspiration from this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eM94m7Zy2ZeygIU.html I think it may be possible, but I am a bit uncertain with the specifics involved and if I were to go ahead and complete calculations such as, a volume of revolution, during the process - would this maths be too advanced for the average AA SL student? I really appreciate all your videos and time.

Hey. I think this is a good idea. Just keep it simple. Don't overcomplicate it and the maths should be fine for an SL student.

Hey i'm looking to do acounting or finance in college. My choice is between AI HL and AA SL, I am an average A math student sometimes B ...NOT A*, what should i pick? My current choices are eco langlit and history HL but i'm thinking that i take BM SL, drop history, and take Math AI HL. Please give me your input. Also I am going for europe universities. I don't think BM is a good choice for HL because idk it's kinda considered a soft subject? History is a LOT of work but i've seen that it looks good on college portfolios but am afraid it is not relevant to the degree I want to pursue
