When I started playing, I beat the game on my second try with only 2 Pokemon. (Shiny Solrock and Shiny Mega Alakazam) Now, I have caught every single legendary and have 90% of my Pokedex completed and 25% of them are shinies.

as someone whose latest Pokemon experience was gen3 with glimpses of gen4, 3:16 is a whole mood lmao "that's a move/pokemon/mechanic?????" also i don't have Zacian yet but i JUST managed to clear classic as well. shadow punch/thunder punch/triple axel/drain punch technician Marshadow goes so hard, even if it still needs support (and this game singlehandedly managed to make me learn field hazards and switch tactics, because i've always been a "spam A until pokemon ded" type of player) that Eternatus fight was absolutely. incredible. ....also unrelated but Ivy is so gorgeous. holy shit. I hope they give us an option to independently set the rival's gender, since I don't wanna change mine but I'm missing out on so much???

Sadly didn’t get the play rough TM, Moonblast is the only fairy move he learns through level up but it’s a special move so it’s not very good on him

I've beaten a couple pokemon games in the past, so I'm a pretty confident pokemon player, in the first 10 or so waves of Pokerogue I wiped 7 or so times, I was streaming the entire thing to my friend. Needless to say, I got absolutely flamed, I had to lock in and beat the game before he did to assert my dominance.

Yea I have beaten the game twice (only because I don't play pokerouge all that much) first time because of a calm mind recover lugia I caught and invested like literally nothing other than an ice beam TM into the second time with the team of a ghost electric pikachu(dress up so couldn't evolve) skeledirge fusion (got DNA splicers literally floor 1), a tapu koko, shiny quagsire, koraidon, beutifly (its shiny and quiver dance baton pass) and aeigislash easily the most broken team I've had and I caught 2 legendaries (koko is technically a legend) an ultra beast (naganadel) and couldn't catch a hoopa literally the most broken run I've ever had and the main carry was the pikachu fusion

@@Goldenfrfr the rival was the only time i wiped, and that was on my first ever run since yk nobody is ready for a fucking tera rayquaza with like 4 health bars lmfao, but a good fairy type basically solo's this game, fairy/steel specifically, tinkaton/mawile completely wall and fuck up eternatus. i beat it on my 2nd try since i knew everything to expect, but apart from the final rival fight and e-max eternatus it's literally just basic pokemon + decent item selection

for anybody that SOMEHOW is so bad at this game u still havent beaten it, grab a fairy type, they are insanely good late game, steel types are also naturally good as steel is absolutely the best defensive type and it's not even close. magnezone is good, archaludon is good, and personally i found that excadrill was fucking amazing. fuecoco is imo the best starter to choose as are any that get a secondary typing and early stab (same type attack bonus) and to me, money management/item choosing was insanely easy so idk what to say abt that aspect.

If you want some quick and fairly easy tips on how to win a run, try to get a mankey to get angry ghost boi later on, an abra because alakazam can carry for 90% of the game, and then a ground or ice type, then just build the rest of your team to beat what those three cant.

@@HiLillika that, and always paying close attention to your egg moves. Sometimes you're thrown with stuff like triple axel morpeko, which isn't a lot, but it murdered late game for me. Then, drain punch pawmi, and now, scrappy population bomb skill link aipom to completely sit back and sweep

@@HiLillika to win a normal run i use Arceus, get a ground tipe move, a healing move, use the candies and the stat bosters only on arceus and grab as much candy jars as you can and give arceus as much berries and items as you can , and the moveset would be like this: a healing move, a normal tipe move, masa cosmica, and a ground tipe move the other pokemons depends on the run but i use this to win normal runs

I would love to spectate one of your runs. While luck will always be a factor, you need to make decisions that will mitigate the effect luck has on your runs. Classic is beatable with only the fresh starters.

You get one wild encounter fight after each elite 4 where you can use the shop, but you need money to heal/revive, after champ at 190 you get a full heal though.

No but you get a lot of money (like 20k without buffs) and with random encounter between members you can easily heal all or most of your members
