This is when GH was at it's fiery best. The Luke and Laura phenomenon will live on forever. Who will ever forget the legendary Elizabeth Taylor as Helena cursing their wedding? Soaps are in no way this good anymore. Rest In Paradise Elizabeth Taylor.

Dixie Howell They don't make music, movies and soaps like in those days anymore. Today's music, movies and soaps do not compare to those of yesterday. I do not like GH anymore. It's not the same. It was fiery hot when there was the Steven Lars storyline, Grant Putnum (duo role), when Alan tried to blow up Monica and Alan in the boat house, Laura Templeton storyline, etc, etc. I still watch those old storylines over and over on KZfaq. Furthermore, reprising the role of Edward Quartermaine was an insult in my opinion. The original Lila and Edward were absolutely adorable and could never be duplicated and furthermore the Helena Cassidine is not good. Elizabeth Taylor is the one and only Helena.

Oldsoul I was thinking the same thing...I grew up watching GH during the 90s and see the old episodes and old faces always makes me melancholy and happy and sad. This show used to be truly amazing!
