I despise this man. Certainly not as much as he would despise me. It's his moral certainty and sneery, superior attitude to the 'likes' of me. Like James O'Brien, he KNOWS he is right. He knows he is on the 'right side of history'. etc. etc. Well, boys, the tide is turning. However, unlike Lee and O'Brien, I don't agree with no-platforming people, so I saw this routine. And it's one of the most brilliant pieces of stand-up I've ever seen. Brilliantly written and performed....bravo, Stewart Lee. Now get back to hating me.

@@evilferrisI have so many questions, first of all let me say that I have some kind of morbid curiosity about spinal cord injuries, especially about accidents, I have watched lot of videos where people are breaking their necks/backs. Shallow diving, bmx jumps, failed backflips etc.. I am obsessed about it .. I am 34 years old, 6’4, good looking etc, from Europe but due to my anxiety and probably some kind of mental disorder I have never been in a relationship, never been part of group of friends etc etc.. and lately I am really struggling mentally because of it.. I sometimes feel even envious when I see guys in wheelchair who are in relationship.. so you can imagine how ruined I am mentally.. I just wish I could let go of all these thoughts, I wish I could have a gf etc. I feel like I missed my opportunity window and that I am too old at 34.. its disturbing… also I am extremely careful in life, regarding doing something extreme for fun.. I would like to know from the first hand why you people do such things? Be it sky diving, diving, bmx, backflips etc etc.. why? I have always wondered about it, why would people take that risk? Generic answer would be fun but still, thats not good enough.. sometimes I feel that me being so strict and careful in life is what caused my depression etc.. I dont know man, I just feel heartbroken for you and for everyone with SCI.. I am constantly reading and watching videos and news about possible cure.. I pray for it.. some random questions: Did your gf left you after accident? I am type of guy who would leave immediately probably, I am just not that strong it would be too much hassle for me.. how you accepted that this is your reality? Do you need to use urine bag etc? Do you ever contemplate about this fateful day? What could have been different etc? I would be like that 24/7… I am just fascinated by it, in a blink of an eye life as you know it is gone.. this is so scary and disturbing, how fragile we are..would any kind of back neck protection gear helped you?? Also how about sex and orgasms ? How a person accepts it?? Do you have any children or wife rn? Also how old are you. Probbably in your 40ties if my math works?… sorry for such a long message and my brutal honesty, as you van see I am mess myself.. on top of everything I struggle financially as well due to sports betting addiction.. i thought about suicide as well in past😢.. i guess my betting addiction is my way of feeling alive at least sometimes..i am type of guy who is afraid of extreme sports like sky diving etc etc but I ruined myself with betting addiction.. man I dont feel like I will live a lot more due to all the stress and trauma and lonlines etc… i just wish you and myself all the best man. You are correct about the Bible being a torture porn book - I became an Atheist by reading it. Here are some examples: How wicked is a new born baby, so many of whom God murdered in the flood? Surely the most evil action in Earth’s factual and/or fictional history is the drowning of millions of people and animals - including their new born children, who could not possibly have offended God. God allegedly instructed Joshua to enter Jericho and kill every man, woman and child. He further instructed the Israelites to kill every man, woman, child and suckling plus their innocent animals if they found one person in any village, town or city who did not worship him. Did 40 children deserve to be mauled to death by a bear for calling a prophet baldy? Well God thought so, which is why he allegedly ordered the bear to carry out that massacre. After forcing Pharaoh to not free the Israelites (by harding his heart), God chose to punish the Egyptians by killing their first born children - because Pharaoh diid what God had forced him to do. Not only is that an example of evil injustice and infanticide, but it is an example of absolute stupidity. Even after Pharaoh had agreed to free the slaves, God stopped him by supernatural force - and then punished other peoples' children because Pharaoh carried out God's will against Pharaoh’s will. God instructs that a man should have his bride killed after discovering she is not a virgin. Which is the greater sin, sex before marriage or murder? According to the Bible, murder is not only a lesser sin - but a necessary instrument of justice against the monstrous sin of sex before marriage. How ridiculously evil is that? In Psalm 135 verse 9 God gives his advice on achieving happiness as “Happy is he who dashes an infant against a rock”. So, according to the Bible, if you wish to be happy, dash an infant against a stone or rock. I could go on about approval of slavery (including selling children as sex slaves), child sacrifice as a thanks to God for helping win battles, having One's son killed for coming home drunk, killing children for lack of respect for their parents (even if the parents were child abusers or murderers), eating of babies...etcetera… These are certainly not MY morals and should not the morals of a good god. These examples are among the reasons why I, who nearly became a priest, am an Atheist - and happier for it. Finally: How can a moral person worship a god who boasts about how he created evil in Isaiah 45 verse 7? Considering this and a multiplicity of other evidence, I have to conclude that to worship God is to worship evil.

One reason I believe some reject any sort suggestion of a Creator or intelligent designer/s. Because of the implications of a Creator or intelligent designer/s. I believe some are offended by the idea of design because if we are indeed designed then the designer/s obviously didn’t intend homosexual sexual activity based on the plumbing we observed of the two biological human genders. For example it’s a fact that a man isn’t ever going to get another man pregnant if he puts his penis in another mans waste port. Indeed he may only receive anal tears because the anus isn’t as tough as the vagina. It seems clear that Part A goes into part B as we also observe with electrical plugs if desiring electricity. If done incorrectly no electricity and no babies. But if our existence is the result of an accident(as many believe) with no designer involved or necessary then this belief would be a far more a homosexual friendly worldview. Indeed if this is all one big accident (as many believe) then right and wrong(morality) is merely a subjective human construct. I personally don’t believe matter left to it’s own devices can ever accidentally and spontaneously form itself into complex life and ultimately lead to my existence and the life I observe around me. I believe this is impossible and there had to be a designer/s involved. Whatever remains must be the truth🤔 I am interested in the the thoughts of others on the topic of our existence. Man, I don't even fully disagree with you but biology literlaly has full on courses that explain to you how complex living systems came to be along with the coded chemistry xD. It's really hard for some ppl to understand that the earth isn't just like 3000 years old, it's a literal 4.5 billion years old that's 4 500 000 000 years old.
