This might sound stupid but what does it mean earning the patch? Is it like some amazing race type thing? Do i have to complete challenges. How does one earn it?
@BigSmittyRiding5 күн бұрын
It’s exactly like the amazing race! Naw, I’m just kidding. You earn your patch by being a good brother to the club and showing you want to be a part of it. Working hard and being there for the club. Just basically showing your dedication, work ethic and that you want to be involved. Simplest answer I know.

Last year I lost 98 pounds. I was pretty damn proud of myself. I got a small injury in September of last year and quit my routine for six weeks. Which then led to nine months. Sadly, I have gained nearly 60 pounds back in that amount of time. I’ve been researching and looking into different solutions and happy to say I’m back on track. This only fired me up more. I appreciate your honesty. Great video and a pretty damn proud of you, man.

That’s our Texas Boy Smitty! You are in it to win it! Take care of your body and it will take care of you. But as you see well within your capabilities. It within anyone’s. God bless you brother. Stay in the process and figuring it out. This is what it takes. What works best for you. There are so many free YT videos of how to get started, how to proceed as you go, and how to maintain it when you get there. It’s a “lifestyle”. It’s will never be, once you lose it that you can go back to the old ways. No sir! It’s a Lifestyle baby. No returning. Any behavior it got to be a lifestyle. It becomes who you are and will be. Be that light my brother. It’s an Olympic year. It sure is. Yeehaw! BTW. I’m your Dad’s age. (69) I’m at the gym or at my home gym 3X week 1hr -90 min. The rest is food selection & portion sizes. That is to say..How much you put on your plate. That’s the toughest part. Most overweight is eating because of stress. (Hormonal and health related disorders is another video). Your doctor knows the what what on that. Hold on to it Big Smitty! You got this. Deuces!

It's a lifestyle change for sure... talk shit and lie??? Fuck those fake unhappy people. Sorry side tracked. Great job, dude, on the work and putting out a video on the subject. It's not an easy topic to talk about publicly knowing it makes you vulnerable to ridiculed from people. Those people are probably from Ohio and suck anyway cause they are fake. You and your family is all that matters. Those are the reasons. Family! Yep I know it's not easy. But it's definitely rewarding.

Stretching, more important than any exercise. 1. Stretching 2. proper diet of low to no sugar and natural foods. 3. cardio/weight training. When i started doing Qi Gong and Kung Fu my feeling in my foot came back after it went num years ago rucking. Also a big reason my motorcycle collision only left a bruise after flying on a hood.

Smitty, I am so proud of you. An 80 pound weight loss takes discipline and self control and will power and SACRIFICE. That is HUGE. It's easy to start celebrating the weight loss and slip into the bad habits that got you there in the first place. Skipping sweets and carbs and not drinking is damn tough. I have a sweet tooth, and not eating all that stuff is so hard. My blood sugar is too high and I need to cut out sweets and potatoes, which is killing me. I simply CAN'T give up red meat - it's just my upbringing. I've been making some sacrifices - wheat bread instead of white, not buying cookies and candy, reduced my beer, no more sugared sodas, no salt on anything. And every time I make one of those decisions, it takes will power. I KNOW you feel immensely better. Carrying around an 80 pound weight that's now gone is a BIG deal. And the sacrifice is huge and hard to maintain when you see everyone else enjoying all those things you love. It's like that scene when you're working late at the office until midnight when everyone else has gone home and has enjoyed a nice meal and is now relaxing by the TV while you're grinding away on the computer all by yourself with no one else in the building. You have to find that motivation within. Imagine how much better it's going to be when you hit that goal! Your butt will thank you on every ride, for sure. And your leg and hip joints will thank you to carry so much less weight. So proud of you. You ROCK! Tongue click and fingers pointed back atcha!
