There's been some great Scottish players at Leeds over the years. I'm an Arsenal supporter when it comes to English football, it's founder was Scottish, from my town. Some nice photos from around the grounds 👍.

@paultaylorphotography9499 the money in sport nowadays is mind blowing. If you travelled back in time to the early 1900s and told the players, in the future you would be earning £100k a week or more, they'd think you were crazy! I used to work for sky in the early nineties, when they took over and started charging to watch events and I wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not. It has brought a ton of money into the game but that creates a big divide between top the top tier and the rest. I'd have to Google it but am I right in thinking Leeds won the last ever division 1 championship before it became the premiere league?

Excellent video! I’ve been practicing IR photography now for 14 years! My only advice, a lesson learnt from Black & White photography from the great and the good from the past …… is train your eye (and brain ) to ‘See in IR Black & White’! Simples!

I have actually just bought the Silver SP. It is almost in new condition just pristine. Yours is brassed I wonder if my silver is made of brass ?

4:38 I love that composition 5:08 the foreground is much brighter 6:40 much brighter looks a bit contrived 9:11 honestly Paul I think 5:08 is the best 10:43 I actually like it, nicely balanced, thanks for sharing

What a great camera to take out with you, and carry your dad's memories too. My dad died recently, and he left me a low end model Praktica from the 70s. Not sure I'll be using that anytime soon! Anyway, a great video 👍

I use a Minolta hand held light meter with my Spotmatic SP2 . I have recently put new light seals in the camera. I bought my Spotmatic in a kit a number of Takumar lenses, filters metal lens caps and hoods and extension tubes i bought the kit mainly for the lenses the camera was a bonus

@@paultaylorphotography9499 Thank you! Ah, he left me an old Canon AE-1 SLR and an Olympus 35RD rangefinder camera. Both are lovely cameras, although they needed some work doing to them to bring them back to life. One of them even had an old roll of film still inside - it had been shot 30 years ago when I was a child, and never developed! I managed to get it developed and scanned and could just about make out some very faded images of myself as a little boy at the local village May fair back in the mid 90s. Very fun! I don't post on youtube but appreciate the thought!

Sorry about your father not being able to use the X100V before his passing. It is supposed to be a smashing bit of kit. I’m glad he was able to share it with you after you gave him the X100F. I’m glad you put the filter on. The X100V isn’t weather resistant until you put a filter on it. He did give you lots of nice bits and bobs for your camera. You can’t have too many batteries. Lovely blue hour images. You did your dad proud.

When the V came out I watched all the vids about it but have forgotten much of the stuff like the sealing the flip screen etc. Dad never did compromise on his gear he was always looking forward to getting out with mum and a camera.thanks for taking a look mate cheers 📷

Nice camera. That moment at dusk when the sky goes dark blue is amazing, you can capture lit buildings when the exposure levels out for both street lamps and the sky. I've seen some nice pictures of the effect but never really tried it myself. That's something to attempt, maybe take a train into Edinburgh and see what I can capture during the festival. That can be my next assignment. Sorry for your loss Paul, I'm sure your father will be looking down on you and your family and probably critiquing your work 😊.

Haha yeah dad will be watching maybe looking up tho haha definitely try Edinburgh in Blue I shot some over our local estuary looking to town a good while ago the vids in here somewhere as was blown away by the balance of exposure the street lights the water the blue sky great time to shoot.

I've been experimenting with a basic type of photoshop, just the samsung app, trying to digitally create something like the IR images you capture and I've created some interesting images but nothing as striking as the real deal. I'm gonna do another video soon of some more images I've captured over the summer and I'll include some of my experiments.

I haven't touched my X100F since I got my Leica Q2, but after seeing this video and your blue hour shot, I am tempted to blow the dust off it and give it a spin. Great to see you being so positive and upbeat in what must be a difficult time and great to see your dad left you something wonderful to remember him by every time you use it.

Definitely run the F mate it's too good not to I'm the same the Q2 is incredible but although compact the X100 system beats it for portability every time. That's the main thing dad ever gave me an all burning passion for photography so now whenever life give me another boot in the nuts I just grab a camera and head out it's an awesome distraction and something to add positivity I couldn't thanks dad enough for that.

Definitely not Eps-EYE-Lahn. Good looking design though. You will get 12 exposures, no doubt about it. The lens which renders images with plenty of sharpness and contrast, is fast enough for the format and the 1950s. Worth it to learn scale focusing if you have one of the better Ensign, Agfa or Zeiss better folding cameras.

Totally agree mate that's why I'm obsessed with the thing I've seen and shot so much normal light photography but this thing is a whole new beast love it
