Focal Electra will put them to shame, they were the best bookshelf speakers in their class, it’s a pity that they were discontinued.

Did you use the Chord Mojo in an in-line mode or otherwise? Which amplifier did you pair with it?

@@mykeldg, and the other DAC is schiit modi multibit 1 or 2? Or just schiit modi multibit DAC? I already have the mojo, I want to buy the second DAC because it has a power supply, which I believe so.

@@ogunrotimifemi6388 its the multibit v2. I now have mojo 2. Its a bit better than all dacs over tried. But if youre craving for a different flavor, bifrost 2 would be the way to go

You have to checkout the Rubikore speakers. Rubicon’s sound fantastic, kore sounds unbelievable.

@@dano1672 yes its the best amp i heard with the rubicons other than class a. Its quite mid forward though so see if you like that kind of sound. Its a but tubey and Like the vocalist is the center of the show. For other good pairing are denons ( especially oma 2500 or pma a110) have good synergy also its not as full as the roksan in the mids but the bass and soundstage is its strong suit.

@@mykeldg Audiolab9000a not bad but lacking dynamics Technics su-g700m2 crisp and clean sound BUT total missmatch with Rubicons ,lacking body ,musicality and engagement,pure technical analitical amp and strangely due to LAPC calibration some bits in music were missing ,very weird.

Hello, Myke! Dali s fan:)) I have also a pair of dali oberon 3 and i like them a lot. I saw now it s dali rubikore series, rubikore 2. What do you think, will a big upgrade if i buy them?

i havent heard them but for me even rubicon 2 is a big upgrade from ob3. based on this you might really like the new line. (though i heven't heard them. if your tight on budget used epicon 2 or rubicon 2 are good alternatives too if you can find them. i hope they improved bass extension in the new line because that is the one shortcoming i have with dali bookshelves

Denon by far. Sound is more clear and smoth. The Roksan to me just dosn't sound right. With the denon the main part of the music is in front and sound clear. With the Roksan it kind of buried and over all sound is not so clean. The Roksan is just bully.

they're still the champ from all the speakers i tried so far. (even after trying more expensive dynaudio special 40) i settled with them and stopped upgrading.

they sound warmer in person though. in this video its a bit bright because of room and weaker amp i had before during time of recording

Thank ! my gosh ! This is amazing comparison ! 1 - Meddle and Highs on Denon fantastic, also more wider stereostage and more melodic, more notes and clearer, NAD just go away becouse perfect bass that i like so much it`s amazing so good, so many layers and dimentions but lack of everything else just killing NAD ..... Denon much more better..... wish Denon have so bass it will be perfect...

the denon has rounder and loud bass in person - its just more coherent i guess. Nad has that distant or flat mids that can make the bass standout relatively but like the artist is not in the room

I prefer the Onkyo. It sounds more nuanced compared to the the Schiit amp. The Schiit always sounds like there is an equalizer or harmonic effect added to the sound that makes me very hard to discern the differences in instruments
