I am so grateful, thank you for putting this video together. Eight years ago I created mixed media on a mural size canvas. I decided to spray paint resin on it. So I put on a new respirator first time opening the package. It took five minutes for the fumes to go through the mask, causing severe sickness! Six weeks later I went to an herbalist. She said I had Chemical burns to my throat and lungs. Thank God for her tincture remedies. It only took three doses of a tincture to knock it out of me. Later on I learned that even a new mask has an expiration date, because the air filters dry out. That’s why I’m so grateful for this video. Thank you. Yesterday I spent 4 1/2 hours watching resin artist on KZfaq. I saw incredible artwork being created. And no one was wearing a respirator mask, goggles, or even talking about it. Then viewing some of them inhaling and blowing through a straw. I found theses fumes to be deadly.

I made 2 inks, one with turpentine and one with isopropyl alcohol..... is it safe to mix them? Think last time I took stuff I was cleaning in turpentine and put it in rubbing alcohol the container got hot and I had to take outside and remove lid because it kept making pressure and I was worried it might explode..... Thanks for your time and any input is appreciated. :)

Yes, reminds me of coastal water areas. Also is reminiscent of what I call “ Lord Asrial skies”, Phillip Pullmans imaginative writings, His Dark Materials books. Thank you for sharing this whole piece of work in progress, you are very generous with your gifted time.

This is most important video if you evet work with Bondo resin or any resin. You will save your life if you follow these instructions. 4 hours exposure to Bondo resin fumes is shown as acute toxicity. Thank you Askari!

Don't! Just dont prime it because if you bought a canvas to play glorified Fingerpainting on?!youve already lost. Pouring and blowing on shit doesn't make for art. And im into abstract but with this you know you have -zero- control over its outcome so it's always just rhrowing random crap on there blow on it and when someone compliments if you take the credit 😂 they oughta thank your solvent and preprimed canvas 😂😂😂

I do diff mediums and this is my first time with alcohol Inks. It’s really nice. The colors you chose are so vibrant creating a wonderful effect. It’s an abstract art. Can wait to start in this. Can you pls recommend a brand of alcohol inks, paper or canvas and other tools I will need for this type of art? I am Impressed. Thank you.

I am not an artist and I haven’t any artistic ability. My 2 granddaughters, 8 & 10, love making art. I’ll have them for a couple weeks and I need to have some projects planned. I like your tutorial. I also like that you keep it fairly simple to understand. Also only using 2-3 color is a good suggestion. I hope it’s something they’ll enjoy. Thank you!
