4th, bullet design using smokeless powder and higher velocities. You don't want to stack ammunition in a tube magazine with pointed bullet against the primer of the round in front of it.

So the upper and lower receivers...aren't. Unless it's vertical. Now I see.

I'm done trusting people's opinions that call fragmentation "spalling" They won't tell you that the spall from a ceramic plate can kill you too because they don't actually know what they're talking about. Ceramic plates mitigate FRAG better than steel. Both steel and ceramic can SPALL on impact. That's why you put your plate in a kevlar sleeve or anti-spall/frag liner if your carrier doesn't have it already, and a trauma pad between you and the plate to disperse the energy across a wider, softer area, and to protect from back face deformation. They won't tell you any of this in the "how to" videos or any of that because they don't actually care if you're protected. They want you to buy a product. Sprayed on Spall COATING (which almost all steel plates have nowadays) is not a spall LINER and it's not ALL we have in the way of frag and spall mitigation. Do your own research stop being talked into spending money you don't have to.

I have the P250 Compact in 9mm. 15rd mags and an aftermarket trigger by Apex. Among other little “mods”. Trig was like $45 on eBay. I’ve tried many, many others but for the price and performance nothing beats my P250C as my edc, or range piece.

I found a lot of people say the M1A1 is LESS controllable because the cyclic rate has bad harmonics and feels like a series of jolts rather than a continous jolt. Ian from FW found that the best Thompson for him was actually the original commercial version, the M1921, which has a higher fire rate than the classic 1928 and the M1 Thompsons. The lack of a compensator on the M1 series may also be a factor.

My thought proceas behind not using a suppressor (besides the cost factor) would be that Id want the sound to alert everyone to the fact there is an altercation in my home and hopefully someone calls the police if i havent had a chance to yet. Plus an AR for home defence in an urban or suburban environment just seems like a bad idea to me for fear of overpenetration compared to a shotgun. If you live in a rural area and your closest neighbor is a halfmile away though, by all means, go ham

Hear me out for a second. I've been theorizing that he didn't know a thing about guns before he became a 'cop.' When he became a 'cop', he developed this child-like fascination with them-kind of like how kids find something cool and make it part of their personality. The other part of the theory is that whenever he learns something about a firearm, attachment, or ammunition, he goes to a random video on KZfaq, scrolls down to the comment section, finds a letter icon commenter, changes the name and the comment using developer tools, then films a video with a screenshot of the edited comment to posture as some type of gun expert. Sounds kind of schizo but what are the chances that someone asks about an attachment vs attachment that Jimmy just so happens to have? Seems too convenient.

"Getting around dystopian gun laws". Okay, Both Mini-14s and AR-15s are legal in states such as New Jersey. The only reason people get AR-15s is due to price, but if you are in said dystopian states, a Mini Ruger costs just as much if not cheaper.

I have a Mosin Nagant that was rearsenaled in 1942, and never reissued. I've hit a 12" steel target at 450 & 800 yards, using the 'ramp sight'......

It's good for self defense against a hypothetical bear or large animal attack. I mean if you live in say; Wyoming or a really rural area in the woods, it's actually somewhat sensible. Though with how bulky it is you're prolly better off with a shotgun since it's way cheaper.
