Crime, taxes and corrupt government are certainly major reasons not to move there or to leave. Warner Robbins was never meant to be a big city with big city amenities. So far as the weather goes, don’t blame it, you knew it was going to be unbearably hot in the Summer when you moved there.
@LivingInWarnerRobins
@LivingInWarnerRobins 12 күн бұрын
I mean to be honest no city was ever ment to be a big city right from the get go. Those cities develoved into bigger cities over time. When it comes to your weather statement you are wrong! When we had to move here there was no information about the area at all to find online. That's why I started this channel almost 5 years ago to be honest. When it comes to your first part, yes our taxes have been raised all 4 years that I have been here by the county and that bugs me as much as you but a lot of that is an underlying issue of the US goverment and the inflation that we had over the last 3 years. The other two things I can not really speak to.

Look, I'll make it simple if you are fat and want to lose some weight then come to Perry and starve yourself or eat rotten food and lose weight that way. But if you are at a healthy weight or slim then don't move here unless you want to starve to death. You will have to drive about 20 miles to get groceries. Also you could move here if you are a crack head. The whole city smells like cat piss. Also, don't go to the doctor here unless you want to die.

😂 I laugh when ppl say a mortgage is easier or less then rent that depends on much how you are capable of owning a home isn't paying all the bills its being a landscaper unless you can afford one you have to have a genaral knowledge of small engines lawn mowers weed eaters and chainsaws and a handyman for roofing plumbing electrical HVAC an carpentery for genaral repairs appliance repair cleaner if you have kids this never ends 😂 snow removal there's mechanical again and dont forgot pest control and garbage man😅 buying a home is buying a list 😂 but yes it is all totally worth every nightmare repair and to do list if you can do it for a whole new level of freedom and your own space to do things your way there's really only 2 options be very very rich and pay contractor's or work a 24/7 job to earn your own freedom space
@LivingInWarnerRobins
@LivingInWarnerRobins 13 күн бұрын
I mean, that is a long long list and you do not have to be rich to hire repairs out that is nonsense absolute nonsense. I’m in. We can always talk stuff bad and negative about it. We can do that with rental too. For example, if you rent you will pay more than the mortgage would be on the house. If you would rent you will pay someone else’s equity. If you rent doesn’t mean that maintenance is free if you go and rent, you can’t do anything to the house because it’s not yours And so on and so I mean, we can go on and on and talking bad about certain situations in rent and all that other stuff the pros and cons to everything and that’s not only when it comes to housing generally in life

Affordability is shrinking all over the country the biggest change in Houston County are actually county assessments and taxes. Statistically WR is still a lot more affordable than similar sized cities in GA as well as in other states. Growth in inevitable and people moving here is only is not a bad thing especially with WR AFB missions growing.

We had an electrical issue. It was found during inspection. Ground was fried and singing in the attic. While meter was replaced and I believe the junction box and ground. Also minor roof repair and the foundation company they seller had used in the past examined the foundation and said it was the same since the repair.

Here is an Update on Rigby's Water World in Warner Robins. They're new 12 ft deep pool is almost ready to open. They also have a new gift shop that will be open on May 18th. It has souvineers and things you might need like swimsuits,sunscreen etc when you're at the waterpark. The Pool will have 2 diving boards and a rock climbing wall. It also has lanes in it from what I've been told. It may be open on they're opening day May 18th but it's looking like it will be sometimes in June or July now or possibly Late May. Sneak Peak for the waterpark is May 18th and 19th. The following weekend starts they're time when they're open 7 days a week. Rigby's has also added some new cabanas some of which are located next to the new pool. They've also added a new step thing that takes you to the new pool. Also not related to Rigby's a new shopping center is being built in front of them.

Thanks for the update if we would have more news directly about WR and not about new car wash, gas station, oil change places and tire shops I would love to do more update videos bud sadly the priority of the City currently are more about being the city with the most gas stations, car washes and oil changing places. I would love to hear what kind of system that is development wise or if the city even has a long term development plan that does not include 1000s of gas stations ?!

@@LivingInWarnerRobins The Car Wash was an April Fools Thing unfortunately. I just found out late but the Pool and Giftshop is for real. The Pool may not be open on the 18th as they said on Instagram our next new thing is coming soon but it's almost finished so I'd expect it to open in June. From what I'm hearing it has a rock climbing wall attached in the pool.

We are thinking of relocating to W.R or surrounding area from Arizona because of my husband's job(that would be Northrop Grumman). We are looking for a home with a little bit of land(min 2 acres), we have a homestead here in AZ. we currently have chickens and ducks but want to expand with more animals, we dont have HOA in this home and would prefer it that way, another factor I consider is my son goes to a Christian school so if there is one over there then that would be excellent, we dont mind the drive, right now we drive about 25 mins to his school. Can you make a video on communities for ppl who are looking for the farm life over there. Thanks

First of all thank you for watching. I really do appreciate that. Second it really Hass to do with changes in the Hall market and trying to be timely. So from a perspective of constant living, Warner Robins and the surrounding area is still very cheap but of course there are smaller towns within Georgia that are even cheaper. And that was probably one video where I talked about the most affordable cities in the middle Georgia region or Georgia where for example Perry, which is right next to Warner Robins cheaper to live in, but it is within that region. I hope that explains it a little bit but feel free to reach out anytime
