You got the scientific name of the little eagle completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Australotriorchis morphnoides.

1. They don't look cubic at all. More like cylindrical. BUt that could just be how they are truncated.. 2. 80-100 pellets means.. you can't take them seriously. Cos they are almost always full of shit. :))

They discovered the reason for the cubic scats are because of their intestines having 4 tougher edges and 4 softer edges... so basically, it stretches as the scat collects in the softer edges and is held tight in the tougher ones and ends up being cubic.

Robyn Lawrence - hello there. I live in Melbourne. I'm planning to do a short film as a final year university project titled 'The Owl.' I've noted there are no owl wranglers in Melbourne. I'm I able get some stock footage of the powerful owl? The shots I need is: 1) the owl eating a possum firmly holding by its talons. 2) sitting on a branch turning its back, then turning the face towards the camera before s/he does that face rotation/circling act, stops that act to keep staring. Appreciate immensely if you can be of help. Hoping to hear from you ASAP, please.

I'm curious, why do you guys use bags and not tubs or tubes? Over here in South Africa we tend to favor the latter since it's too easy for a snake to bite through a bag.
