Were gonna grow stronger than the colonizer (If I heard that correct , if not I'm sorry but sticking to what I wrote) , I wish Scotland had the balls , from a Scot born of Irish decent I know what Colonizer means right around the world at this time.

Same in the islands where they used discarded tortoiseshell to make bracelets and so fourth. Is now illegal under the guise of wildlife protection even though they weren't hunted for such use. Also a part of their cultural art and tourism economy no more.

Tanto me impactó haberlo escuchado. 👌👍🇪🇸

‘The system’ has been covering and suppressing up our true history for too long. Now we have plastic Māoris in parliament misrepresenting us and dishonouring the efforts of ancestors. It’s a constant battle.

It's evident that traditional approaches to education have failed to provide equitable opportunities for all learners and have perpetuated disparities based on race and privilege. It's essential to critically examine the underlying assumptions, biases, and power structures within educational systems and pedagogical approaches to identify and dismantle systemic barriers to learning and achievement.

Looked this up after listening to Fred Graham being interviewed on RNZ "Mapuna". What a lovely man: full of honest wisdom and so unaffected by the 'hubris' of the art world. He is inspirational in every way, telling his 'stories' for the wider benefit & education of others - being 'political' in a humble & receptive way that is open to melding all the various strands of our different cultural backgrounds together as one, whilst main-taining his own unique identity & talent. I'm both happy & proud to be a part of this 'brand' of Aotearoa/NZ.

The arts, is an expression adopted from the pakeha and sadly maori have fully endorsed it. As you have rightly said it an expression of our culture which is far different to what the word arts mean. It's something that is uniquely maori, tangata whenua, for want of a better meaning. I find it demeaning to our people and culture. Art is one person's perspective on his or her surroundings regardless of gender, race and so forth. Our culture is not a personal identity on its own, but a single family unit called whanau. I think it is important to put it out there, but in its proper context. Thank you brother.

I am sharing these CreativeNZ videos on Community Noticeboards *Hard Out* ~ This is what had to happen to 'contestible* funding' ~ to fill the giant chasm between Creative Communities Scheme and CreativeNZ ~ unmet by the all important Regional Level of CreativeNorthland-type NGOs ~ I urge everyone to *SHARE*, *SHARE* & *SHARE* ... In the brilliant film *Hyena Road* sense ... "*JUST* Send iT!!!" OPS: "You have about 9 years ... " Everyone's an Artist. Everyone. Art of the people by the people for the people shall not perish ... This is AOTEAROA New Zealand Arts 'Coming of Age' ~ New Age 🤣 Witcheye* figure, may as *WELL* be oversubscribed as undersubscribed??? Why NOT? Life *becomes* Art, and Art, Life. For a better future ... where we and our childrens' childrens' children will have a whole lot more time for Art. 😆🥸😎🤓 iT'll be our *Culture*
